  • The camera gives a wide angle perspective, I suppose? Seems further away in the vid. You are one excellent shot, my friend!!

  • Good vid, but tell me: you weren't afraid of a ricochet, with all those bars?

  • @AnywhereButHere09 .it was uncharted territory at the time.. if you watch my 2nd and 3 rd videos you will see I get right up to the bars . but the spacing is at least 6 inches... so I felt comfortable

  • squeal like a pig

  • weird laugh 1:10

  • I'm an animal rights guy, but I can't criticize this. I don't take moral high ground over hunters, only the pleasure killers who pop up every now and again. I do think it is our responsibility as the planets dominant higher-order thinking species to eventually end all forms of violence, but I refuse to slander or demonize men like this whose craft was undeniably necessary in previous times and who do things with skill and humanity.

  • @Supaduck0 "higher-order thinking species to eventually end all forms of violence"

You are delusional if you think that will ever happen, and a good damn thing it won't. Nature is fierce competetion. The day we stop competing, is the day we start going extinct as a species.

  • @Supaduck0 The higher-order thinking species should study a little biology and ecology, and get a clue.

  • They are kinda cute!

  • 3 years without trapping any hogs? Texas is overrun with them!

  • beautiful gun

  • I love your .22, excellent gun. Nice catch too

  • Good job. Beautiful old mag!

  • clean and quick.....thank you !

  • There are no native wild hogs anywhere in the New World. All wild hogs are feral that arrive from Europe by settlers from Europe that escaped into the wild.

  • @topsalespro You also forget that some jackass in recent years imported Russian boars to the US and they too have escaped. Most ferral hogs are descendants of boars.

  • @topsalespro not all some escaped from farms or turned loose when they were not worth hauling to the sale. the pietrin breed was also imported belgium for breeding that is where some of the large red haired hogs come from in usa, they grow very large.

  • @jackmcpherson69r

yes, yes. but depending on how big the hog is, sometimes a .22 wont work

  • @Jacob14G its a .22 mag not a .22lr thts what we use when we slaughter pigs is a .22 mag so its more than enough

  • @jackmcpherson69r

i know a .22 will get the job done, i was just stating something, i live in east texas and we have tons of hogs, im just saying a .22 doesnt always get the job done

  • Man, this isnt a slaughter. This is humane.

  • Can wild pigs be domesticated again?

  • wouldnt use that small of a caliber, but thats just me

  • MMMMM Bacon.

  • Bye Wilbur -:D

  • do you eat them

  • If you dont like animals getting killed, dont click on videos labelled "hog slaughter"...such bigots

  • whoa nice gun

  • Where the hell is the sport in that? Although it'll make some good bacon…

  • @oahugrown4902 its not sport, the wild hogs are devistating texas and are hugely over populated. this trap just happened to get two of them, so instead of just killing them for senseless reasons you might as well make some good food out of them :D

  • AWESOME!!!!! Thanks for the great video.. Glad ya showed the kill. I gotta get my ass to a state that has hogs.

  • @gerjanplate North America doesn't have any native wild hogs, they are all imports.

  • Sleep tight little piggies.

  • Pork chops on the hoof!! Thanx for sharing with us, your trip to the grocery store! When's dinner?

  • you are pretty keen shooting through the bars of the trap!

  • Love the pigs staring out of horror upon hearing "watch me shoot em." Awesome.

  • quick , humane and clean kills , nice job

  • @gerjanplate

Mixed breeds ..I think full range of Russians / Arkansas razorbacks/ domsetics. some of the hogs are mottled in colorations being "calico" of red, white and black patches. the largest boar I shot was in the 5-600 lb range..typical old boar about 300 lbs .

sows go up around 250 tops .

Last year the State came in with a helicoptor and sharpshooters and took out 123 pigs in 1 day so I am guessing they reduced the population of elder pigs,

  • @hunterhuck I'd rather have hunters pay for the privilege of pig hunting than have the State do it. People need to get first hand experience of where their food comes from.......

  • @hunterhuck sounds like a mean and hearty breed mix. Is the meat tougher than the stuff we buy in the grocery store?

  • Lol nexpar. This goes to show that good bullet placement and not the caliber of the gun is what counts.

  • At 3:42 it's as if the Pig is saying "I'm gonna get you for this!!! Just wait until I get out". But then at 3:46 he's backing off saying "Don't point that at me!" while thinking "I got to get out of here" as he backs away attempting to get out of range of the gun. Justice is served.

  • FRESH BACON !!!

  • nice gun!!!!

  • nice gun and good shots!

  • Nice meat pigs.

  • Hey Good shit manand Nice shootin even though it wasnt hunting'em

  • Does the pig have a whistle embedded in its throat? If not, the pig (hog) is a rock star.

  • i just saw a video of some people doing the same thing. one with a .45 acp, and one with a 30-30 and you stoned em.

  • Another one bites the dust.

  • sow looks pregnant
