  • FAO: Dogico.... Y U know just love the music?

  • how can they be one dislike on this music

  • These comments; women then & now. Now its expected women go to work instead of staying home to raise kids, care for her man & the household- no easy task! Say you are/were a "stay at home mom" you're looked at as spoiled, trash or a welfare case. Not all women wanna leave their husbands & go to work! Notwithstanding those who fought for women's "equality"- but who ever thought women weren't equal in importance to men in the first place! Use to be behind every good man stood a good woman! ;)

  • Her voice is so beautiful!!

  • THE MIGHT OF MOTOWN..LET THE MUSIC PLAY

  • 20th century had the best songs.

  • I always think of the scene in Jackie Brown with Robert De Niro and Hattie Winston when I hear this! lol Good song though nonetheless.

  • @Wiseguy453,

Hahaha! Yeah, that was a fun scene.

  • Lol is going back in time to the 50's for it's music really worth the polio, wars to come, and un-equal civil rights? I wouldn't go back in time because there's no point. In 2011, I don't have to call the radio station from my landline phone before I get in my 8 mpg car to listen to my favourite 50's tune. I turn on my computer and watch it on YouTube or plug my iPod into my car stereo and play it.

  • @KylieMTV

    Sooooo right.

  • My friends dedicate this song to me since my childhood nickname, which by the way i cringe every time people call me this, is Babylove. But this is really a good stuff. I'm Sunday' groovin now.

  • I wonder why Chicanos want to hurt and kill Black folks, why do you like our music, but not us? Why is "soul music" shows filled with Chicanos with bandanas, but when a few Black folks show up, we are jumped on? You bastards make me sick with your art work and your "choosing" our music! Stop It1!!!1

  • @stucktoit909

    Thats a good ass question

  • I love Jackie Brown.

  • No matter how old they are their still alive. lyrics mean something an its simple plus you can understand them(: i dedicate these oldie songs to my Tia Josie she loved listening to this music evry single day. I love yu tia and i miss yu as well :(

  • people have really romanticized the 50s/60s. yeah the music was cool but the blatant racism, accepted misogynism, and borderline fascist conservatism would have made it a pretty shitty time to live in when not cruising around with chill music.

  • @dogico - all of what you say is true, but people as a whole were more honest, authentic and even with the blatant racism, black people were closer, had more dignity and worked together, that is not romance those are facts. For many right now is a shitty time to live and much of the music sucks!!!

  • @dogico Shutup and enjoy the music, Debbie Downer.

  • @dogico dude if you were white it was badass

  • @dogico the racism and the way women were seen as having to be in the kitchen and having children and being feminine and quiet was really the problem with it for me. but that's really it. women are sexual objects now who dress like sluts and expected to act stupid and be "sexy." the music nowadays is heinous. and another good thing about back then was that the homosexuality thing was not accepted and it was considered paraphilia. the gays weren't taking over the world.

  • @blackhorse099 Not all women dress like sluts like me.

I am shy so I could never dress like that.

  • @dogico How is it different from now? Why because, laws have been passed, and 'most' people realize it's wrong? It's all still there, just behind closed doors. The 50's, and 60's haven't been 'romanticized' they've always been like that. People got married then because they loved each other. Not because they had a great body, or tons of money. Even though I'm not from the era, you have no room to talk. You're 23, you didn't live through it either, so you should calm down about it.

  • @dogico

One of the best comments I've ever read on YouTube, period.

  • @dogico This comment needs to be on TV!!! That is exactly what I was thinking once I realized how depressing the 50s probably were when the radio was turned off...

  • @dogico Plus you know, diseases. Like polio!

  • @dogico the racial segregation was wrong back then was wrong but women had rights by that time there were white people who were in the civil rights movement and there was some things women were not able to do but it is so much better than how corrupt society is today people weren't kidnaping murdering or robbing people near as much as today and there was not a gang and drug epidemic back then and there is nothing wrong with conservatism but there is something very wrong with liberalism.

  • @dogico There is nothing wrong with most of society being willing to serve there country and being against communism, being a tree hugging war protesting brain damaged drug addicted hippie is one of the most ignorant things a human being can be however.

  • I wish I could have lived back then I think I would have been alot happyier.

  • It will NEVER become any better than the QUEEN of Motown, Ms. Diana Ross. LADY YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!

  • 2 live in the 60's had 2 be great!!!

  • Hi all. I'm Spanish, and for me the Motown sound is one of the greatest sounds ever. Baby Love, My Girl, Nowhere to Run, Dancing in the Street... The Supremes, Vandellas, Marvelettes, Temptations, Undisputes Truth... That's REAL music, something you can feel, and not just noise or simple boom-boom rithm, as most of the sounds today. But this is only my opinion.

  • LOVE Diana Ross, its only natural. Her voice is dreamy and sends my heart floating, its the ultimate fantasy with Diana. Her words are like kisses in a whimsical flurry through your soul, and your smile shines through as her do.

  • Love the song, don't like the retarded ass pix during it son.

  • baby loveee!!!

  • who don't love some baby love??

  • whats up with the cholo and chola pictures?

  • @woahpops Latin and hispanics, don't like Motown, too? Since when?

  • @woahpops The video was Probaly made by a so called cholo.

  • Diana , all is forgiven ! Please come back ! I miss you !

  • I BELIVE THAT MOST EFFECTIVE WEY TO RETURN THE TIME IS WITH THIS SONGS SOMETIME REALLY WORKS.

  • A Supreme Classic!

  • I really love the songs back then...

  • It has to say something about todays music that I, a 16 year old girl is going waaayyy back to find GOOD music... Cuz todays music is just, no talent, autotune, making songs for money not becuz they have passion for music.

On exception a few hard working musicians and artists in todays music industry that keep the real reason for making music... alive<3

  • I think this was on the flip side of a 45 I bought in 64 ,,Where did our love go,was the top side,

  • Hey it's the song from Jackie Brown!!

  • ♥♥♥♥♥ Qui n'aime pas cette Chanson ♥♥♥♥

  • I wish it was back like the oldies, when Willow Smith would've have been considered a UFO.

  • this song got an entire do-over before it was released, Motown released the first take of Baby Love in 2004, its totally different, i like the first take alot better

  • I remember when I was really little my mom sand this to me before things got bad... I listen to this and it makes me sad... the way things change.

  • very tender!! :)

  • so true, they dont appreciate the classics!!

  • The oldies will never die! They will always live on...But this generation of kids have turned to that rap an pop music crap.

  • This song is awesome! real lyrics and great beat Pierce Cruise

  • I LOVE THIS SONG... Not too crazy about the pictures during the whole video though haha.

  • My mom was a die hard Supremes FAN, I have a always been a fan too!

  • i think i got a new hobby....loving the oldies

  • It isn't Diana and the supremes, Diana didn't even write these songs. The supremes were probably formed by Barry Gordy and other Motown producers

  • @TheSeabass87 The Supremes were already a group when they came to Motown. They were first known as the Primettes. They performed at dances, sock hops and won talent shows which gave them a local following. So no, they were not "formed" by Berry Gordy and other Motown producers".

  • Back then they had to underplay the sexuality makeing for much better music than today where most videos are half pornographic and the lyrics leaves nothing to the imagination.

  • one of the greatest girl groups of all time !

  • When I listen to this song it feels like I turned back time.

  • This version was :

    recorded August 13, 1964

    released September 17, 1964

Hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 1964 for 4 weeks

  • baby luv oohhhh ohhhhh baby luv

  • old song feel diferent ... feel good!!!

  • genisame genisame genisame kaname ena agorakiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • i agree with y'all, i wish i was born in the 50's cuz i think that's was the time music began to be a damn good thing till the late 90's..I mean now hiphop is almost gone..(drake = thumps up) and R'nb ..some singers got that thing ; trey songz! And some singers just don't appeal to me..but oke i wish that nowadays music would have some style like thiss

  • @RapStarsz drake=thumbs up? please tell me you're being sarcastic.

  • i wish it was like back when the odlies

were a guy actully loves a girl an not just for sex you know??

back in the dayz were the best oldies brong people together

an this shit they come out with it fuckin stupid!!

oldies are the best an alwayz will bee too!!!

  • @TheBananaz1 Clearly the education back then wasn't as good as the music.

  • @TheBananaz1 Because we all know that the 60s weren't about sex.

  • @LB40186 Lol ikr

  • @LB40186 yes but a different type of sex ;)

  • @TheBananaz1 times have always been like they have today.

  • @TheBananaz1 A guy can still love a girl for something other then sex, music isnt dead stop complaining. And im pretty sure in the "oldies" someone would have smacked you upside the head by now for cursing so much.

  • @TheBananaz1 Actually, that's not true. Women were seen even lower than they are now. In fact, they wee seen as nothing but sexual objects...Even I sometimes wish I lived back then. I'd be chillin' with Bob Dylan(coincidental rhyme scheme) if I did. However, when you fantasize about the "oldies" as if women were treated more equally back then, it really doesn't make any sense. And yes, this is coming from a male. I believe that all genders and races should be treated equally, no matter what.

  • I like this old son
