Hello. I tried to download CrystalMap(Update) and it doesn't work. Once I unzip it it shows a error message telling me that the download is corrupted.

I tried downloading other tools (cryssprite, crysgym, crysstat, crysmart) and they work fine. I only have that problem with CrystalMap(Update) and crystallmap11, could you re-upload those files again? or provide another download link?

Strange, the unzipping works fine for me at least.

you've to check the ini-files and find the offset for it and add it with crystalmap manually

Nah, I thought something happened to the rom after editing it with trnPKMN, the editor to edit trainers in Pokemon Crystal.

You messed up something pretty bad.

Did you make the trainers' pokemon over lv255 ?

If so, it shouldn't still mess up the rom when opening it but just when you fight the trainer that has over lv255 pokemon.

if you did that, reply and I'll try to tell you how to fix things up.

if you did something else, you should have a copy of the rom that you edited and delete the one that turned out glitchy.

I try mapping Route 38, but when I play it on VBA, the game glitches(ex: Pokemon's backsprite's look like player's back sprite,Pokemon's letters become like 8?, and when a pokemon levels up, it goes to Level 1, and it learns every move until when?)

the map data of route 38 is glitchy and shouldn't be changed

if you know how to do warp editing (which is very simple), change it so that the player will skip that route

I've been searching non-stop for trainer editors and wild pokemon editors, as I want to make my own harder version of Pokémon Crystal, with the 251 pokemon available as well, yet I cannot find any satisfactory ones. I was wondering if you could tell me which tools you use in order to make your terrific hacks :p

Anyway search for crystalfallows in

google and you should be able to find

a map editor (with wild pokemon editor

included) and a trainer editor for it.

If the trainer editor doesn't work,

download the one in Skeetendo, Inc.

if you're talking about GoldMap there is a way to resize map but you also need to use hex editor to do so.

you can try to use that pksvui-thingy from pokecommunity toolbox

it's not actually trainer editor but it's pretty simple to use to edit trainers if you learned the basics first
