This is one of the most beautiful pieces of choreography I've ever seen. It comes from such an honest place in Travis Wall's heart that it's as close to perfection as one can get.
I like the moves in this routine especially at 1:10. I don't see them as fluid but I still like the moves. It doesn't make me cry or anything but people feel differently about dance. I enjoy the timing the two have. It deserves a standing-O based on its intent alone. Someone said Travis mom was at one of the stops. I hope she felt honored. I imagine the dancers felt privileged.
This -entire- routine gives me goosebumps (& makes me cry, HA) but I especially love seconds :20 - :24 and 1:10 - 1:12 -- imagine the strength & trust it takes to make those parts/lifts possible... The fluidity of their movement & the silence that their restraint creates is so so powerful to me. It speaks volumes for not only the dancers' talent & technique but the choreographers' vision, as well. Fantastic job, Travis/Allison & Robert. It deserved the standing ovation it received in STL. :)
