omg, realy???? i would love to give you a lesson on so many things in this video .. bad posture for working, saftey in so many areas but the worst is the blow out and the lack of seriousness you gave to it.. inhaling those particles WILL give you cancer.. please dont ever teach this . it is bad, bad ,bad for you..i think you should take a begginer class in saftey for glass blowing .. thnaks for the try, hope to see another from you with all issues addressed in these replyies,,

It's not good to blow tubes out like that, an important thing to remember about glass blowing is it hazardus, those glass particals that went into the air she was breathing an glass dust can be deadly, thats why alchemy puts skeletons on their frit containers.

the implosion should take 3 minutes

the pendant itself should take 15 min

also, that pendant sould be done in a lot less that 45 min! please make more. and put some effort into making the videos interseting! its sad to see a glass video with over 3000 views have only 7 ratings, and only 2 and a hlaf stars! you can do much better!-)

I have heard so much of this community college program from Ron! You need a better video producer to work with you. the constant change in focal length (zooming) is a huge distraction, and the editing is very sparatic, with little screen continuity. I really hope that you put up some better videos that will give people a better idea of what is going on, and why sould you laugh and show a blow out! its a dangeous thing to show! you never even talked about the possible dangers of inhaling that!-(

You said you prepared the round bottom tubing, I know this will sound naive but I'm obviously very very new to Boro, so can you tell me how this is done?

Also, can you make an implosion pendant with just a rod and not tubing?

yes you can you have to create a "gather" and flatten it into a "maria" which kinda looks like this -<|. check out blindskater2490 hes got some good videos on different pendants and what not.

theres a bit more to it. send me a message if you havnt already found out how to do this because your post is a few months old.
