  • I am not a country music fan, Hobbsie. However, your chicken pickin' is pretty stinkin' great! It harkens back to Jerry Reed, Roy Clark & the guys who really knew how. Awesome job man!

  • Great tone and amazing playing !!! Did you learn those licks from his DVD ? How long did it take you to get used to playing with a thumb pick ?

  • Actually, i never ever used a thumb pick before this...this is about a month after I started digging into Brents stuff, I sand down the length of the thumb pick to make it easier to use..thats just me. Thanks for the comment! some of these are from the dvd, yes.

  • Now that's how you play country licks on a tely!

Learning guitar has made me truly appreciate country music. ( although the radio top 40 country still gives me gas )

    You're pickin' and I'm grinnin'!

  • What settings on the Hot Wired. Great vids by the way!

  • minimum distortion being used on the hot wired....with lots of compression from the ego compression by wampler.

  • you sly dog you! WOOF WOOF!

  • Nice pickin' son.

  • If that don't light your fire, your wood's wet. Great job!

  • great pickin´, bro!

  • chickin' pickin' :D

  • Hey jashobbsie, are you using the standard pickups in that Telecaster? What amp are you using?

  • Great tone and playing! Love that country flavor...

  • Wow, I've never heard a TSL do that...you dialed that badboy in just perfect. Great playing too.

  • Awesome, i love chicken picking, and Brent Mason. Great tone and great playing! dont ever stop!

  • Excellent stuff man!! :) I like you're taste in guitars. :) I'm a tele fan myself. :)

  • where can I find that backing track? I'd love to play over that for fun at home.

  • I made it myself on my BOSS RC-50 LOOP STATION, i just play a beat and record a simple rhythum and create a loop that just plays over and over... Go to the boss website and chech out what they do, they are a good practice tool...

  • Nice tele, It looks just like one of the black guard ones from the 50's

  • Sweet thumbpickin'! Well played!
