with the one damage per hit, u need to get the minimum damage skill. for yuri you get it by synthesizing the compact sword +1. im not sure what the materials needed are, but this is how you get it for the other characters. as for the other skills, you just need to experiment with synthesizing. try keeping every weapon for synthesizing. youll get it eventually

The 1 per damage is a skills that you get from a really weak sword in the beginning of the game. So check in the old shops of the game.

and for the cancel its just you block for it to cancel.

You get the Minimum Damage skill by remaking their base weapons again and using them until you learn the skill. As for Arte and Spell cancel, i'm not sure. I think for spells you just guard while they're casting...

Something along the lines of the combo+FS chain being too high so the HP gain was too much (from FS Bonus 1) that it made everyone's HP go overboard into - values = death ;p

It seems like the party deaths were because Yuri had the Fatal Bonus skill and the others had something to leech off the HP gain. The amount of HP gained was proportional to either the damage or combo, and passed #FFFFF, or 1048575. (Or something about hex values) It even gets to the point that the damage is only counted once an FS chain occurs. The healing upon FS overflows into negative healing and kills everyone.
