the whole "host system" is just a bullshit --- it makes for the other team really unfair -- so my opinion - no fucking hosts in game or 2 hosts on each side to make it fair - best connection would be the host.... that's why i hate gears of war 2 - versus mode bullshit -... coz of that damn host.... worstest on guardian though.... they better fix that in gow3.... or the game will be ruined again likw gow2

Host is whats wrong with this game.If you have two teams that are even in rankings the team that has host will win most of the time.You all have blasted dudes point blank range with a shottie only to have them turn around and 1 shot you.The glitches used and modified controller use has made this a game for nerds who think they can play but in reality skill doesn't mean you will win.

Not true at all. When I'm host my team's connection is amazing, yet the opposing team lags like crazy even with my T1 connection. Gears needs to fix this problem somehow. It's not even a game when I'm host or off host. Gears' a one sided game majority of the time.

XD unfortunately, I do happen to get host ALOT cause of my awesome connection, and it pisses me off but at the same time it helps me because most of the time I get anywhere from 10-15 kills(sometimes more) and very few to no deaths.

Hosts have less health to make the game a little more fair. Epic made it that way so there was no huge advantage like in the first one. And yes non-hosts lag cause they are playing off host connection. Host will move faster and not lag and shot registry is instant.

actuallly its the registry system they use for the shotty and other weapons, they use it for the lancer, long shot, hammerburst and any other non projectile weapon,this system HELPS make up for lag, why do you think its easier to hammerburst or lancer on laggy matches...the shotty doesn't use this system because its considered a projectile weapon because of the shot and if you can't notice a differnt between playing on a god connection, bad and host then theres something wrong cause
