I used to Hate Sonu! It was the bad first impressin on him that I had, watching the movie Jaani Dushman. That was the first time I ever seen/heard of Sonu. But, off late, the bad first impression is gone. I enjoy his music and not to mention his mimicry. Hats off to his talent.

'Dil ke jharoke se' is one of rafi's best. Music directors were the greatest musicians of all time Shankar and Jaikishan. Sonu struggles a t the high notes, but it is not an easy song to sing. The orchestra is out of this world but miss the tabla or dholak which would have given a better feel of rhythm.

Sonu struggles at high pitch. His voice becomes thin and jaded at the "Kaal teri jalwe paraye bhi honge". Listen to the original in youtube. Rafi was smooth across these ranges.
