they put it in a bucket to weigh it and it kept jumping around... ocelots are a serious matter they are in serious danger. people are taking their fur and making clothes. I went to the beardsley zoo and saw its mom. ocelots can be found in sputhern texas, brazil, and costa rica. they are nocturnal and ferousios predators. they use sharp fangs to tear apart meat to eat. they love to climb trees. they can grow to be 3 times the size of an average houscat. people need to raise awearness of ocelots

At the San Diego Zoo, which we go to at least once a week, there is an Ocelot that has a "spray zone" sign in front of his cage.. This little brat kid was sticking grass in the cage and I saw that cat spray him and the stupid ass mother RIGHT IN THEIR FACES!! I laughed so hard, I said "you be yelling at him and sticking stuff in his cage!!". People are awful sometimes..

ATTENTION! When holding ANY cat especially a kitten who is squirming, you must have one hand at all times maintain a firm pinch grip on the back of their neck. Pull the excess skin so you are only pinching skin not the actual neck. Not only is this the natural "handle" their mothers use, it also relaxes them. You'll reduce your chance of getting bit/scratched as well.

It couldn't hurt to show the animal some love, either. These zoo workers seem averse to being affectionate sometimes.

Absolutely adorable baby! And what utter, insensitive morons to scare the poor little thing with all that flash photography! What is wrong with people? I loved at the end when the vet was trying to pat the ocelot's belly and he was having absolutely none of it. Almost like he was saying, "Too little, too late, you son of a bitch!" Can't say as I blame the poor little thing.
