Nah, I don't think he'd ever spare a crap band from telling them they suck. I think he was being extremely sarcastic with the 'applause' and "Amazing"s. He seems bored out of his gourd in this vid (understandably - stupid questions), giving ridiculous answers like the thing about the vibrators, LOL.

Yeah, actually he can. Just because an artist agrees to go on a show doesn't mean he's enthusiastic about it. It's about promotion - money. Professional musicians have to do a lot of really dull promo work. And I never said he thought everything in Russia is stupid, just the TV show he's on.

this is an interview usually summing up the week's social, cultural, economical and political events, i dont really like this programme, but the fact that they know what good music is and invited beady eye is already great. They could have invited one of some stupid russian or western pop acts. And the question about cucumbers was quite expectable as there was a part of the programme about this issue.
