  • Thanks for the video, subscribed. Good looking out

  • I'm interested to follow your diet guide, but I am 16 years old (round IV of P90X.) Would you recommend it for me as a Vegan?

Also, what is "Bocami" at 6:00?

    Thanks!

  • @KrystleBlueTube hey there is a good substitute out there... you can see I made a vegan pizza video on here. The name of the company is DAIYA

  • @Klimatik cool. for sure. i'll keep that in mind.

it's super frustrating having a real injury that completely disrupts your routine for 2 or 3 months.

  • hi iv been doing p90x for 74 days but the first 50 day i ate what ever i wanted at day 51 i started to eat what you say in this video and now i don't have any energy when you started to eat this did you have low energy

  • You know it actually has been going really well. I have been on it for a whole week and I still feel great. you will love it, it is a good format, and it has all of the meals detailed.

  • @Klimatik - Oh, I've done the raw food thing before. Last year it lasted for 45 days, because I enjoyed it so much. I found so many recipes out there, and I have since created my own little raw food/vegan/vegetarian recipe binder.

I'm also on my first day of an over-due cleanse. I try to cleanse at least twice a year.

  • WOW AM I GLAD I FOUND YOU!!!

  • Well I am glad you found me too, how are your workouts going

  • @Klimatik

    it's going well.

I'm on week 3 of the P90X workout, but this is the first time that I've done it in the gym where I had access to a pull-up bar. WOW, what a difference!. I was exhausted, but in a good way.

I had a protein drink, which is all RAW, for breakfast and some mixed nuts, and raisins.

  • cliff builder bars are vegan and have 20g of protein per bar. I dont know what their calorie count is but they are pretty good.

  • actually they have about the same calorie count as the regular cliff bar, but they have more carbs that is all. but they do taste really good.

  • I am starting P90X mid February and I consume a vegan diet. I was wondering if you tried the vegan protein shakes by BIOCHEM. If not you might want to check them out. They are pretty awesome. 20 grams of protein and 110 calories. I add a banana to mine and drink them after the gym.

  • yeah I have actually had them and you are right they are awsome. I have lately been doing raw for about a month now so no powders or anything

    badassvegan com

  • not a problem at all, glad they help!!!

  • Yea if you can post the recipes after each video that would be great. Or post them in the caption while you talk. your videos are the best. Please keep posting them they really help. thanks

  • I will see about posting the recipes next time but if you notice I say how to make everything on the video... you gotta do some of the work, lol

  • Your videos are awesome. I haven't been able to stop watching them!! It's taking forever dude, haha.

  • Thanks so much for watching, I really do appreciate it!!! Keep watching man, lol

  • nice man, you rock

  • Thanks so much I appreciate it!!!

  • lol u make your own protien bars.. good stuf hehe

  • LOL yeah they are good too

  • You should try veggie burgers and veggie deli meat slices on your sandwitches. they taste excelent. Also it would be a good idea if you incorperated more raw fruits and veggies in your diet. Peace!

  • yeah this one is pretty old but I do make sure that I have changed it up now.

  • in your 4 rounds of p90x how many times did you do the doubles workout?

  • lol never

  • Hello I am one week away from starting P90X and I can across your video and beside the fact you did a wonderful job I am also a vegan. You have some very creative recipes that seems to have really worked for you.... I am pausing your video to try and write the down but you would be so kind to email me some of them or just the snack bar... I would really appreciate any help with the diet because I cannot do what is recommended.. Thank you... So much for any help... And again great job!

  • I actually don't have them written down any longer sorry. I will make sure I post a still copy of the recipes next time I post... thanks for the idea

  • Hey Big Show,

any thoughts on replacing rice with Qinoa in your diet? I've just started eating it myself, and, I'm pretty happy with it.

  • lol I have been doing the same thing, lol I love it, lol

  • My boyfriend and I are on day 5 and we feel awesome! I We are vegan and this vid has helped us understand the basic things we need to include in our diet.

    Thanks for an awesome video!!!!

  • isnt it great, lol

  • what about vitamins like a "one a day" are you taking anything like that thanks

  • I was taking them but not anymore

  • You are my hero, I'm about to get on this shit!! Truly an inspiration.

  • LOL thanks man

  • ok thank ill try your diet and see if it takes my health to a new level

  • lol how is it working for you so far

  • i love it i was thinking it was going to be hard because i use to eat a lot of red meat hahaha but now i fell so good i have no plans to go back to the way i was eating thank

  • hi do you eat the same thing every day???and are you taking any supplements or the p90x recovery drink...is a Vegan diet any more healthy for you???

  • well yes I do eat the same thing everyday, I don't take supps and yes the vegan nutrition is 10 times better than any other.

  • do you take creatine?

  • nope not at all

  • you're the fucking man. bravo.

  • lol thanks alot.

  • wow ur vegan too!!!

  • lol yeap

  • don't think I could ever be a vegetarian or vegan, I've cut out all red meats before, and really I only eat one or two meats per day, I get most my protein from protein shakes, but as far as taking out meat completely, the littlest I could go down too is only eating seafood as my meat, I do eat alot of veggies and fruit though, but that's got to take dedication to be a vegan

  • lol thanks, but you can do anything you really want to do

  • I tried the hummus and rotel sandwich. Not very good if you ask me. Tolerable but not tasty. Oatmeal and other recipes are good.

  • thanks for watching!!

  • do you know how many grams of carbohydrates you eat per day (roughly)?

  • naw sorry, not sure at all.

  • Hey Klimatik,

I have been a vegetarian now for 3 months. It's working for me. I have been losing inches. I'm not quite ready to go vegan as as of yet. Are there any pointers you can suggest? Thanks for anything you can offer.

  • lol you just have to jump in and do it man, really no way of preparing for it, lol.

  • Awesome video, thanks dude. I am vegan and I just ordered the program and I was wondering what kinds of modifications I would have to do to the diet. And good words of motivation as well.

  • I just look at what they have in the guide and just put my own vegan twist on it.

  • Thanks for the vegan tips! I did P90X vegetarian in 2005 and tried to stick to the ratios outlined (in phase 1, heavy protein, that was especially hard to choke down it much veg protein!) but it seems much easier to eat clean and let everything fall into place. Ramping up to take on another round this summer so appreciate the motivation/tips! keep it up.

  • Thanks, yeah I just eat the portions and not worry about the amount of protein that is in each item, just as long as it counts for my proteins.

  • How much would you say you spend um .. each week or every 2 weeks on your nutrition plan?

  • I spend right at about 50 bucks a week for my food

Please log into WOWY on teambeachbody and vote for me as transformation of the quarter!!!

  • You work for Culligan water? I have their system in the kitchen great stuff.

  • lol naw not anymore, I did work for them at the time I made the video though. but you are right it is great.

  • what about cardio?

  • the cardio is included in the program

  • Hey whats up man? What type of equipment is needed for the p90x?

  • you may want the pullup bar and the push up bars, you will also need to get some dumbells as well.

  • can you use resistance bands instead of dumbells?

  • all you need is: the dvds, a set of dumbbells, and a pull-up bar

  • yeap that is about it

  • I guess I'll try it but seriously what I need is better nutrition.

  • well the nutrition guide comes with it so you won't have to worry about that as well.

  • hey I tried to send you an email but it woundnt go in

  • did you follow the nutritional instructions that they sent with the program?

  • Yes I followed the nutrition plan, that is the best way to get good results

  • I ordered this program, and the only problem i have is that i cannot do a single pullup, do the videos show a way to build up to the pullups? or do they expect you to be able to do them immediately? I really want to be able to do the program correctly. Thanks and Amazing job on everything!

  • yeah you just have to keep trying, the only way to get better is to practice right? just keep at it and you will be fine

  • I was skeptical about p90x until I saw your videos. I have one question I am having a hard time with pullups, is there some type of srategy or something? I am 6foot4 270lbs , not in bad shape, am I too heavy for them , I have never seen a big man do them.

  • man you are 6'4" 270, I was 6'6" 244, lol lets be honest with ourself we are/were in bad shape. you are not too heavy for pull ups it is all in your head.

  • I'm new to counting calories, would you be able to recommend any books?

  • dont know of any books, but you should try a calorieking it is a good website, i could not spell out the whole website

  • Yo dude it's great what you're doing! Im on day 60 and dropped my bfp from 14 to 9, but it seem hard to drop from 9 to 6, what you think? should i cut my calorie intake which is 1800? or should I stay like this and be patient ,I'm 510 165 lbs by the way....thnks and congrats!

  • Thank you for watching!!! and way to kick ass on the program. I mean you don't have to cut it down to 1800 but if you want to get the best results it wont hurt

  • I mean could you get good results w/o drinking the shakes?

  • yeah you can

  • do you drink the protein powder?

  • I really don't use protein powder any more, every now and them I will

  • And honestly how many pullups could you do before you started Round 1???

  • LMAO, yeah it was about 1 and it was not pretty either, lol.

  • hey dude, you've actually intrigued me to go vegan, which i thought was impossible, i almost want to try it but it just doesnt seem as fulfilling, but im sure the results are, BTW ur work is very impressive and i am 6 days into p90x and definitely want to model my progress of yours, and i wanted to know whether you followed the nutrition to the T at the beginning, or whether you just cut back and ate a lot better?

    Good Luck

  • I followed the nutrition to the T, believe it or not, Tony Horton is a Veggie head too, look how big he is, lol.

  • chopped up Spinach, RoTel, with humas and wheat bread sounds awesome. Im gonna try that this afternoon... Thanks man

  • LOL yeah man it is really good, who knew, lol.

  • Bomb shell man, thanks for the tips!!! Keepem coming man!!

  • Thanks man.

  • Great video! Found out today that Tony Horton is Vegetarian!!!

  • lol he sure is.

  • I am really trying to find quick foods to make and also I guess you could call it "food on the go" since I'll need to be taking it with me to school and eating at certain times in the day. Like you, I also don't mind eatting the same thing everyday. The p90x nutrition thing is kinda confusing to me as far as the serving system using the colored blocks is concerned. I am 5'11 and 154lbs and the guide says I'm on level 1. I would like to gain size, but don't know what I want to weight.

  • how many grams of protein do you have each day?

  • it is in the guide, the othere answer should help you.

  • it is not too confusing, you just have to read all of it, each block represents how many servings you can have of each category. Now after that you have to look at each category and see what items fall under each and see what is the serving size of each item. you may want to eat on level two.

  • oh yes and what brand of pineapples do you use?

  • dehydrated, I get mine from whole foods

  • and what kind of coconut as well pls?

  • again whatever is on sale, shaved or shredded

  • Hello! May I ask what kind of peanut butter do you use?

  • just regular old peanut butter, whatever is on sale and doesnt have high fructose corn syrup

  • I have a question, is it true you would need to install a pull up bar at home for the P90X program?

  • No you don't have to there are alternatives to do it

  • thanks man

  • i was a little skeptical about P90X but when I saw your transformation I was sold. After reviewing the product and reading so many good things about it and after I saw what it did for you the choice was easy. Thanks man you really have made this whole nutrition thing easy to understand, also do you use a scale to measure all of your portions?

  • I am glad i could help out!!! Yes I use a scale and a measuring cup

  • First off i would like to say that you are an inspiration to a lot of people like myself. Do you mind telling me what type oatmeal you buy, instant or stovetop and what kind of apples do you eat green or red and do you leave the peel on when you add to the oatmeal? I appreciate any info that you can provide.

thanks and keep posting the nutritional videos; very informative.

  • Well as far as the oatmeal, I get whatever is on sale, lol. but I tend to get instant, but the bulk container. Apples is the same, lol... but I will tell you that I leave the peel on them..

  • This may sound like a joke, but I assure you I'm being absolutely serious. I really like beer. I also really like Jim Beam and Coke. Are these two things going to have to be totally cut out of my life? Thanks in advance.

  • yeah I have to be honest it sounds like a joke, that stuff will just keep you from getting the progress that you want.

  • Alright, well whatever it takes. I realize how rediculous my question sounded, but I appreciate your response. I'm absolutely amazed at your results even after just three months, but the year long results are just rediculous. It's definitely inspiring. Thanks.

  • No problem, just remember to have fun with the program, in the end this is supposed to be a good thing you are doing.

  • Does p90x help for those who want to "bulk up?" Im thinking about starting the program but most people I see already have size. Or is there something I have to do in order to gain size along side the p90x program?

  • Yeah if you want to bulk up, they tell you how to eat to achieve that as well. You can do the program along and get the results

  • Is the nutrition program expensive...like most of the items included in the program?

  • it is not expensive at all, you just get the good stuff that is good for you.

  • Yeah.. I'm glad you told me about humus. I'm a huge cheese lover. But I have issues with it.. I'm allergic to dairy. However humus does hit the spot. I have to be careful cause I can eat an entire bowl in a sitting no prob.. That's why I make my own and make it lower cal and low fat..

  • lol yeah that hummus is good, lol what helped me control that craving is that I buy the snack packs that way I only open that one little pack a day

  • Thanks so much for the food tips. My hubby will be happy to see your results knowing that you went vegan. You also just gave me a reality check. I'm what I call a Raw/Vegantarian and I realize I'm doing okay. I'm working on being more conscious of my nutrition and eating throughout the day. Congrats on your success. Did your wife do the program with you?

  • No problem, at all I am glad that I could help. Yes my wife actually did the program with me, lol one time, she is not a big workout persoon but she stays in shape without it ( I hate that), lol. but she did a round with me though.

  • I tried humus and roadtel.. Good.. If u have a food processor. U can make ur own humus. This recipe is pretty good. 1 can of drained chick peas 1 tsp minced garlic 1/2 of a lemon juice, salt/pepper. I use braggs liquid aminos (can use soy sauce) this is low fat version. (4 higher fat version add 1-2 tsp of tahini sesame paste instead of braggs/soy) after mixing in the processor add 1/2 can or more of roadtel diced tomatoes and peppers.

    Good stuff..

  • Yeah it is good stuff huh, lol?

  • Nice results! I'm starting on the P90X program, right now I weigh around 140lbs. with a medium build body but my goal is to get a body like yours :).

  • Thanks man, just eat right and workou and you will get there,

  • I know u said how to make ur protein bars but can u post ur recipe? It sounds like a really good idea to make ur own, they are way to expensive to just keeping buying.

  • I actually said how to make them in the video, you will love them.

  • what was ur nutrition like before u went vegan?

  • I have another nutrition video on here.

  • Dude, you are such an inspiration. Thanks for making these videos. I'm starting P90x on Sunday, and I would be thrilled with 1/4 of the results that you got. Thanks for doing these, it's cool to see what other people go through.

  • Thanks man, just get keep it going you will get the results.

  • hey man, Im about two weeks into the program and im eating healthy, not exactly what the nutrition guide says but pretty close. I don't count my calories, is it okay to let it slide or is it something u gotta do? And im a pretty slim already and i don't really need to lose weight so i figured it wasn't quite as important. And thanks for the vids your my motivation.

  • yeah man you got to count those calories, without it you are just eating. you have to make sure that you stay within your calories or you let things slip in and you have to remember "It all adds up" so if you just eat 100 over your calorie count that is 700 extra cals for the week, and 2800 for the month and so on, so eat right, take the extra 30 seconds to count your nutrition.

  • thanks.. for the new video !!!
