@ohbaby870 Yes back in 01 jive did want slave for u as a single, they said no many times but it still got put out. She controls what she records and releases completely. Mona Lisa was released on the Britney And Kevin Chaotic EP. It got no real radio play because the whole Original Doll project was scrapped because she got pregnant and put it off so everything was leaked and they weren't able to release it in time so they decided not to officially release anything from it.

So, that does not mean that she's with Jive plus Sony; she makes records with Jive in conjunction with Sony and they just distribute it. I wanted to know if she was going to a whole new record label..... :)

Oh, I'm not sure, but in one of her interviews I think she said something about moving to a whole new label.. But she's been with Sony a long time now, and she has said she's leaving it a few times "/
So it all depends really.
It would be good if she did though, that way she can release the songs she wants instead of having to release the ones they tell her too "/

She could do so much more with her tours and material if she ditched Jive! I would like her to pull a Madonna --- after years with her label Jive (Madonna had Warner Bros.), ditch 'em and run to Live Nation, where they don't own your music and you get money for promotion/tours, merchandise, and music altogether.
