Have a photo of you playing this song in a hole in the wall coffee shop in WV. It is one of the best concerts I've attended. Thanks for the story behind the words Ive tried to make a calmer jungle for my family.
What a great song. I have had Jason Harrod on my ipod for a while and have no idea where I first heard him, or how I got the tracks. Thank you for this vid. It's brilliant, and I have a tear in my eye right now..
Jason, this is still one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard, and it's not like I don't listen intently to new songs every day, cuz I do. :) I hope you're encouraged by the timeless resonance it strikes in longtime fans like me.
While I was still in high school I got the chance to see you several times on the North Shore. When I went to Gordon College, I ended up being taught by a former classmate of yours, and was sad to learn that the reason I hadn't heard you guys playing any more was that you'd split up. Glad one of you is still going in the music business, and that both of you are doing well. Sometimes I do my own poor rendition of 39 at my local open mic, and point people your way if they ask about the song.
Heard this tune and immediately purchased all the Harrod/Funck material I could find on I tunes. What a divine pleasure to listen too. As a guitarist/singer I can not praise this video enough because I am bloody useless at working out chords to songs, but by watching this I can now play this wonderful song. Cheers from Perth Western Australia God bless you more and more and even more than that and then some more with more to come until His joy in you is completed. alexleitch37
@VonHobbit Cheers man. The world is truly a small place. Hey are you familiar with Mark Heard's music. I only ask because I was introduced to Harrod and Funck via the mark heard cover "worry too much". I think he is the greatest singer/songwriter I have ever loved. Tell me where did you first hear these guys? alexleitch37
i absolutely love this song. i found it so randomly as a referral to one of their favourite songs on somebody's blog and i i can't stop listening to it now. your voice is very pretty and i love the melody. my favourite parts of the song are when you sing "water rising" and "keep your eyes on that horizon" i love how u sing it in those parts! ^_^
Great tune, Jason! I hope you have more footage to share with us!
Btw, YouTube broke your link to Evening Films (in the video description) - it thinks that the close-parenthesis is part of the link. You can probably fix it by adding a space between the final slash in the link and the close-parenthesis at the end of the sentence.
just had a lovely moment of total grace listening to this song. -its beautiful-thanks for writing it.

My youth pastor just shared this with us and I instantly fell in love with it. Great music, even greater message within the lyrics.
