Nice - welcome to the club! I LOVE my 95 gpz - there's nothing quite like it even made anymore. So smooth at any speed and runs circles around nearly everything else on the road.
Got to 135 on mine and my helmet was pulling off my head - it was still pulling HARD though.
Just make sure to keep the valves adjusted and keep an eye on the steering head bearings and you'll be fine.
Just got a 1996 Kawasaki 1100 GPZ a few days......AND I LOVE IT!!!

Love this video, I just found a 95 GPZ 1100 for sale in my area & I am picking it up next week. I can't wait. Seems like a fun bike.

was the concours based on this engine? i tried a gpz b4 i got my concours...solid bike but i am not a big fan of the motor...very buzzy but solid.

Yea was pretty much much same engine for concours and ninja also. Juat all had differnt carbs and cams.
