This may have been much better if they had it exist outside the Batman series Nolan was constructing. Showing more popular villains like Joker, Two-Face and the Penguin in the Japanese style would have been more entertaining than seeing a couple of skater-kids talking about him or having to sit through contradicting story lines. Why would Scarecrow look so different if it was the same "him" as in Batman Begins/ The Dark Knight? Why would Killer Croc even exist? Gotham Knight didn't work at all.

The Bat rules, but in my opinion anime-type artwork sucks cos they tend to draw figures and features so out of proportion. I especially hated the artwork in part 1 of gotham knight, it looks like batman has a potbelly. I prefer the animated series version.
