I saw Hard Days Night at the movie theatre in65 and the girls were flipping out like the girls in this clip.I was 6yrs old .It was the first time I realized I really liked girls............great memory
"A Hard Day's Night" was the Beatles' very first movie and it hit the theater the summer of 1964. George Harrison stole the whole damn show, like when he shaved the mirror; sang "I'm Happy Just to Dance With You" and did that funny thing with the shirts. George was the MASTER of deadpan!
Paul has such a beautiful voice. George, with his thick wavy hair and trademark intensity was such a sexpot. Let's all raise our glasses to George's sister Louise who nursed George back to health so he could do this show. We all know the Beatles without George ain't the Beatles. Sort of like Chrysler without Dodge or something. You need George! You can hear him strong on "All My Loving" and George had a deep, sexy voice.
@BeatleBangs1964 That Harmony between Paul and George when George took over the lead of "All My Loving" so that Paul could sing the high harmony was first rate! Kudos to George who sang despite the day before missing the rehearsal being sick in bed with strep throat. And Kudos for not passing it on to Paul, John and Ringo! ;-)
Elvis and his manager Tom Parker send their best? Little did they know Elvis's record sales would plumet, of course so did every other popular singers of the time. they all hated the Beatles to say the least! The greatest group, songwriters, musicians of all time! Beatles.

Fuguratively speaking, the Beatles might've whipped Elvis (thier hero), but Elvis had the blackbelts. ;)

Tubesteak....in other parts of the world the date comes first,,,so 9-2-64 = 2-9-64
On the contrary, Tom Parker and Elvis knew that he ( Elvis ) was gonna get his ass kicked by these guys.....lololol.....

They never appeared on Sullivan on 9-2-64. The first appearance was 2-9-64.

I SAW HER STANDING THERE is missing in this segment. It should be the fourth song before I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND.
