Um, they forgave her for that, because of the positive outcome, and then respected her as a princess after battling with her. Also, in the SuperS special with them, they talked about how they knew they could handle the new enemies and they were all friends. And in Sailor Stars, they really cared for her and worried about her being with Seiya.
Because, she's too powerful. If she was in battle, it wouldn't be a fight at all, and the whole thing would be boring. Sailor Moon is more powerful, but that's only at the end of the fight/during a serious battle, while Hotaru can be extremely powerful all the time.
Example Battle:
Saturn: Hold it right there!
Some Sailor Animamate: Phage, defeat her! -teleports away-
Saturn: Silent Glaive Surprise!
Phage: -dead and unhealed, she's too powerful to just weaken it for healing-

Shit.... The guys were around one season. Saturn appeared sporadically in three seasons, BUT had to wait for a GAME to get a henshin.
