  • I have this movie on VHS

  • after watching this, i promise myself i will love my dog forever and will NOT let anything hurt her.

  • i always wanted a dog like him...heck i still do :D

  • When I was a kid I watched Beethoven over and over again, memories :)

  • Beethoven has been my all time favourite film since I was youngerr! It's also the culprit for making me badly want a St bernarddd lol! Definitely going to get one in the future :)

  • @SmartieRockz will you believe me if i tell you that i thought that the father was brad bird (the director of the incredibles)?

  • I can't believe the guy who played the dad is in his mid seventies now!

  • I love the little Jack Russell in this film! :)

  • This movie's great to watch if the movie "Cujo" freaked you out

  • MEMORYGASM

  • I used to be scared to watch this movie when I was kid, the reason why I saw the movie Cujo and I thought he would turn Rabid just like him. I was glad that didn't happen in this movie because I love St. Bernards.

  • holy crrap, didnt realize it was like 19 years ago! I loved bethoven! i used to watch it 100 times, we had it on tape

  • i had this movie . i think the vhs box was like one of those disney ones . big and white.

  • I freaking love these movies. Their classic. Always a favorite<3

  • both Beethoven and Beethoven's 2nd were the best. When I watched Beethoven's 3rd, I stopped after 15 minutes into that movie, and discontinued my interests on the further adventures of Beethoven. Yes, I know for many movie lovers and pet lovers alike, they think of it like a modern day Lassie, but to me the Beethoven movies are not the same without Charles Grodin, Bonnie Hunt, and the three kids who acted as Ryce, Ted, and Emily. Kind of like the Home Alone sequils without Macaulay Calkin.

  • @jackson123456789ize you literally copid the top comment? pathetic

  • Beethoven must be dead by now.

  • Wiener dogs in outer space

  • wat number is this?

  • I wonder if the dog would have behaved better, had he been named Mozart...

  • Ah, Beethoven the dog..

  • Three things:

-I forgot how much of a baeb Bonnie Hunt is

-That dog is a fucking asshole

-How did I ever watch this shit?

  • i love films like that are acctually made to be entertaining, not just for profit. i miss the 90s

  • Beethoven, Steel Magnolias, My Girl, Home Alone.. - the late 80s / early 90s movies were awesome.

  • 1. Beethoven

    2. Beethoven 2nd

    3. Beethoven 4th

    4. Beethoven 3rd

    5. Beethoven 5th

    6.Beethoven 's big break (6th)

  • I liked the first and second one. From there, it started to suck. Same with Home Alone 1 and 2 but, don't like the rest.

  • Im gonna name my dog either Tchaikovsky or Brahms.

  • Loved this film my sister and i when we were kids, real one for the family.

  • Hey everybody. I'm looking 4 the title of a song in Beethoven's 2nd. its right when ryce goes to taylor's (her crush) party on the lake with beethoven. its an old rock son (obviously 90's or earlier) and it plays when she 1st arrives at the party. if you know the title or even just the artist please tell me. it would be so helpful cuz i've been looking and looking 4 it. please help. thanks!

  • I dont no why, but I seem to remember back when they played the original teaser trailer for this movie, they trick you into thinking its a Cujo sequel! Maybe this was that trailer! I was only 8 at the time, and Cujo kept me sleep deprived for longer than I could back track! Does anyone else remember feeling that way about this?

  • Its amazing that Charles Grodin was in his late 50s then....

  • You're absolutely right. In my opinion he's a great actor.

  • I loved dis movie, bless the little geeky kid, my boyfriend looked like him when he was that age lol! I had forgotton bout this movie but I had a dream about it the other night (random). I saw a doctor shortly after seeing this movie who looked like that dog catcher bloke and I shit myself!

  • Both Beethoven and Beethoven's 2nd were the best. When I watched Beethoven's 3rd, I stopped after 15 minutes into that movie, and discontinued my interests on the further adventures of Beethoven. • i loved Beethovan, now it seems so old lol...it's still very good though!!!

  • I loved all the Beethoven movies as a child, and I still do... :)

  • Watched this movie few days ago again :D

  • 0:55

    "YOU!!!" lol

  • Although this may not be the best movie to some, I like it because its much better than the terrible sequels that they won't stop making

I dont know if thats what is called does anyone know?

  • the song is Roll over Beethoven by The Beatles

  • What about Cujo?

  • Great, this was one of the most classic movie of my childhood, with back to the future. I must say that i'm a bit nostalgic too!

  • Charles Grodin looked like he was in his forties then, though he actually was 57. He is now 73 years old.

  • Yep and Bonnie playing his wife was only 31.

  • wow. another nostalgic movie here

  • classic 90s kid movie :) we all grew up watchin it...

  • and that theme song was the BEST

  • first time i watched this movie was around sometime in 1993, at a church video night so funny.

  • i loved these movie series...does anyone have the whole movie to download? I want to relive my childhood movie

  • Hehehe that was great! Btw, David Duchovny (Mulder from X-Files) is the guy that gets pulled down the street by Beethoven. ;)

  • With a young Patricia Heaton (Debra from Everybody Loves Raymond)

  • This is one of my favorite movies from the 1990's!Bonnie Hunt looked really pretty in it.But one scene made me want to beat the bad guy in the movie to a pulp!In that one scene when he's looking at Bonnie Hunt while she bends down in a dress,I realized that he wasn't just an evil man,but one with sick thoughts!

  • Somebody know this song? amazing :)

    thnx!

  • I love now too...i lost my heart at st bernard dogs

  • beethoven rules!
