has anyone else noticed that there is a particular spirituality in this young man's tone when he sings in a church? it is not simply the acoustic effect of the venue but something more. difficult to put one's finger on it but it is there all the same. i think something is shining through his performance and reaching out to bless those of us who are fortunate indeed to witness this miracle of song

Yes, I have noticed the spiritual quality of Louis' singing. I commented on it on another of his videos. But I hear it in all his performances, not just the ones in a church. He is offering us much more than just words and music when he sings!

PS: I heard that spiritual quality the first time I ever heard him at all...singing "So El Encina" in the video titled "Bonne Annee 2008." It is listed among the choices to the right (at least on my screen). He is magnificent!

I still don´t have enough good words to qualify him as singer. This presentation only confirms what I would expect from him. His voice in spanish sounds a bit more bass than in french, however, the way he sings makes it sweet to hear. Well, I´m a fan, I´m suspicious to say...

C'est très réussi. Louis Alexander a fait de beaux progrès depuis ses premières video. La voix est devenu beaucoup plus naturelle (plus par devant), beaucoup plus riche. Bien que ce soit déjà magnifique, je suis sûr qu'il lui reste pourtant encore une marge de progrès. Saura-t-il nous étonner encore.

He's getting older, isn't he? What is he now, about 13 and a half? His voice has dropped a half-step or so, but in so doing, has actually gained some richness and depth.

He's gained some confidence, I think.

He possesses beautiful manners. His insistance on sharing the audience's cheers with his pianist was classy and generous.
