  • I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope the best for you and pawly.

Your video with pawly has brought many of us comfort. Thank you.

  • My sincere condolences for your loss.

It is nothing short of amazing the way that pets will deal with that sort of thing...upset like we humans are. I am very glad you have each other.

  • Thank you :D

He brought her into my life before he had to go. And now she is a blessing and a comfort ;-)

  • Just dropping back by...how is the sweet little kitty these days?

  • She's doing well. We've both been through the trauma of losing " Pa " - I lost my dear Jerry to sudden death and poor Pawly waited for him to come home for two weeks ... being very reluctand to leave the foot of his bed.

The whole ordeal actually resulted in her being way more affectionate to me.

Then we had to move. But the new place has spiral stairs for her to play on and an abundance of windows to look out of. She seems very happy now :-)

  • cute ^^

  • Pretty kitty. I'm glad to read you kept her and got her fixed.

  • thats one pretty kitteh :D

  • wow, she's a real beautiful cat

  • It's funny, my mom has a cat with the same colors and spots, but two different colored eyes and 6 toes per foot.

  • its a cute little kitteh! my kitty is fat liek yours, but i couldnt care less. cats are awesome! except mine bites when your mean to it.. my little cousin kicked my cat and it bit him.

  • How old is your cousin? I hope you kicked him to teach him not to kick animals. Only way I'd let that slide was if he was under the age of 3... even then he'd get an earfull.

  • O_O What a cat flap you have!hehe

  • What a sweet little thing. Do you all still have her?

  • Yes she is ! And getting more affectionate by the day !! In the mornings, I can always find her at the foot of my bed. :D

  • Wonderful. I am happy for the critter. That is the cutest little face.

  • Was?

    Isn't she still with you?

  • Sorry, YES she is still with us and doing very well :D

My comment was directed to the person who was saying Pawly " was " grossly overweight in this video :P

I will take my Vetinarian's advice, since he sees her in person, over someone who is making a judgement about Pawly by watching a fuzzy video of her O_o

  • She's definatly not "wild", she's grossly overweight. Pretty cat though.

  • She was a good mouser, but she was NOT " grossly " overweight. She was bloated in the belly and thin otherwise ... after living with us for a month, she filled out all over a bit, her stomach actually thinned some and her fur got very shiney. I took her to the vet to get spayed and she was 8 lbs. The vet said that was JUST RIGHT for her age.

  • If you haven't tried this yet....baby food on your finger. Gerber's has best texture for this purpose....individual cats seem to have particular preferance. And given time, she will win over anyone...what a flirt she is!

  • She's a very fussy eater, she will not take any human food from us, except tuna fish. She doesn't like any of the store bought kitty treats at all. She will only eat seafood varieties of wet and dry catfood. She lets me handle her. She loves to play and she will give me gentle love bites and has even given me kisses, and has learned not to use her claws ;>)

She is a real flirt and will roll around at out feet a lot, looking cute, but won't always let you pet her. she's a bit of a tease ;>)

  • What;s her name? Yeah, see, she's not some wild unsocial animal. Like so many of the "ferals" she was a housecat.

She's a homeless Community Cat and you are her village that made sure she didn't fall through the cracks. She just had her trust broken but she desperately wants that relationship with you. she's too sweet. Here's hoping you find her a fabulous home!

  • Her name is Pawly ;>)

She has now been living with us for 8 months. She is still quite indepedant and never comes up to us for a pet, but she will let me and my boyfriend pet her when she is eating or when she is approached gently. I can pick her up, but she only tolerates it for about a minute. She follows me around the house and sleeps in my bedroom. She is very sweet and we love her dearly :D

  • I see a kitteh.

  • *HUG*

  • thats so nice of you to take care of her

are you sure its stray tho?

  • DDMoney,Back in late November, we had a cold spell of single digit weather and the kitty LIVED on our back porch for three straight days. She did not leave the little hut we had provided as she would have frozen out in the 9 degree F. weather without shelter. If she had a home, I would think she would have gone there to warm up.

  • is she o.k? does she have a home?

  • Yes, she has been spayed and has been living with us since december first. I can now pick her up and she follows me all over the house. She will never be abandoned again, as long as I live :D

  • god bless you.

  • Ditto :)

  • UPDATE : She is now living inside with us :D It's been two weeks and she is settling down, sleeping at the foot of Jer's bed ;>)
