  • Pat Robertson-- what a crook! If there were a real benevolent God, She would put this guy where She put Jerry Falwell. Then, start with the rest of those scumbags such as Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, .... the list is too long.

  • OMG! Proof atheists are wrong! Pat is the second coming of Jesus Christ.

  • Of course, i know the difference betweene putting my faith in God and man. Why in the world do you think i'm putting my faith more in God than in man. However, i do too know that the gifts of the Holy Spirit is subject to the prophet, he can be wrong, indeed!!

  • @FemaleObserver I guess it is because you seem to argue against my point that Pat Robertson is a failed prognosticator, (not even debatable,) and a fraud.

I think the evidence is pretty clear on Pat. You are free to disagree of course but I probably will never understand why anyone believes anything this man or others like him say.

  • Well, why don't you ask their organization about it, not me. The reports from these people looked true, he sounds doctrinally true, we're of the same faith and pentecostal background. Have you checked with CBN about this to see about their records.

  • @FemaleObserver What sounds doctrinally true about false predictions of the future?

What can you point to in the Bible that suggest God wishes us to believe the claims of men without any reason or rational thought on our part?

His predicts things they do not come true, If he is wrong on that why so much faith that other less substantiated claims are true? The Bible warns of false prophets, how will you know of them if you ask no critical questions?

  • @FemaleObserver Even faith sometimes needs more to go on than platitudes and cliches. You came here seeming to assert you were somehow a better person than I because I expect evidence before I just accept a mere human being is a messenger of God.

All I have done here is use video of Pat in his own words to show examples of his erroneous predictions. That seems to have irritated you. Maybe it should but I fail to see why it is my fault of the man is a lousy prophet, or just a fake.

  • I don't have to see some veritable records because i already know the healings are real as we see them operate in our churches as well. This is the gift of healing from the Holy spirit, or dont you bleieve that Jesus healed the sick as the healing continues now.

  • @FemaleObserver I see you know because you know.

I only ask people to think critically. I presented some examples where Robertson claims he has visions from God but he was dead wrong. Critical thinking suggests either these are not from God or God is lying.

Believing in Jesus and believing in Pat Roberson madam are NOT the same things and you could not find anything in the Bible that suggests anyone should put that much faith in a man.

The opposite is in there however.

  • I have become born again and have changed my life totally from darkness into the light by once watching the 700 Club and it has led in a dramatic change and a personal with our Lord. Pat is just an instrument and his ministry i continue to support from since the 1980's, that is enough spiritual healing for my life and that doesn't need any spiritual or medical doctor to prove, thanks!!!

  • Well, first off, tell me over whatever studies of some 25 years you have: DO let me know what a FAITH HEALER is versus one that that show the true gifts of the Holy Spirit!! Tell me the difference.

  • @FemaleObserver How would you know if it was a true gift or not? I will await your thoughtful response on that .

Mr. Robertson repeatedly has suggested over many decades that people are healed by his prayer and that he receives "word of knowledge" from God. Let me just ask you what medical evidence of any healing by his prayers has Mr. Robertson ever been able to provide?

It seems to me that is the only way we could establish if anyone were healed right? So where is the evidence?

  • To the one posting this video: whoever you are, you're a totally ignorant person who doesn't know God while your ideas are throughly showed you know nothing about Pat Robertson. To call him a faith healer? You have to see what that word means and what it means to know God enough to be able to hear and be shared of the Lord the future!! I think the best scripture verse to give you is, "Father, forgive him for he doesn't know what he's doing.."

  • @FemaleObserver so you are aslo casting aspersions along with Mr. Robertson. Answer me this, what does the Bible tell you about that madam?

I am not new to this game madam I have studand the paranormal and nonsense like prognostication for over 25 years. I cannot fathom how you know so little about his past yet come here scolding me.

On top of that he is a lousy prognosticator proclaiming misinformation on the future comes from God. What does the Bible say about false prophets madam?

  • @FemaleObserver Let me be very clear with you, Pat Robertson was a faith healer in the past this is not a matter of opinion. Start off googeling Pat Roberson Faith Healer and take notes then go to your local library if it is a good one and research this. It is not even debatable.

Further more the man consorts with known frauds and con artists like the despicable Benny Hinn. What more do you need to know?

  • @FemaleObserver Lastly let me suggest to you that God did not put you on the earth to be the sole arbiter of who does or does not know him based on what someone thinks of a man.

Mr. Robertson claims God gives him information about the future but most of it is dead wrong. Madam that should be your first clue he may not be what he says he is and he is misleading about his little chats with God.

If he is wrong on that, what makes you think he is holy and beyond my criticism?

  • wait let me understand this a little bit. you as a nation are raped in all forms of life possible and controlled by French forces. ok, then you fight your way to freedom and to this day have to deal with an unstable country do to foreign policy and the super power's lack of compassion to really help (and no, not some weak fund raiser) but a complete overhaul of building the country towards growth. and you are cursed by god? Pat are you kidding us? wow, hope you can sleep at night dude.

  • @alexdilone I personally struggle these days with whether or not Mr. Robertson is sincere in his nonsense or not.

Years ago I would have been fairly sure he knew much of what he was saying was lies but now I am not so sure. He has been doing things like this so long he may have started to believe his on 700 Club press.

  • Indeed.

Much of Pat's prognosticating has been irrefutably inaccurate over the years. Any attempt to document all his failed predictions could go on for some time.

I would have included more if I had time to find video of them but my tolerance for putting them in text is limited as far as a video is concerned so I held off.

  • Or... God may be talking to Pat Robertson, but Pat isn't listening closely enough. He's a turd that just won't flush, isn't he?

  • I suppose that could be... I suspect any voices Pat hears in his head are not that of any god however if he is speaking to God I prefer to believe God enjoys messing with him.

  • @TheBlueFlamingo robert johnson old blues player made a deal with the devil too. "true story"

yes and africa made the same deal... its called old folk tales.. like johnny apple seed do you really believe he planted all the apple tree's?

  • Robert Johnson never admitted to making a deal with the devil. Tommy Johnson did. People got the two confused, somehow.

  • @TheBlueFlamingo but a " deal with the devil is possible then" folk tale? .......so is pat still crazy ?

  • Yes. Pat Robertson is cut of the same cloth as Oral Roberts and Jerry Falwell. They're all lunatics.

  • I suppose next you will try to say Pat's good friend Benny Hinn making those people faint is just like Paul Bunyan and the big blue ox.

I mean that is just as logical a connection right?

I don't the value in arguing against irrationality with more irrationality here.
