  • Hmmm... Taiwan eBay LEDs in a Streethawk lightbar. Definitely not sold.

  • @highbrowmedia Its not even a street hawk. its a clone called the cougar.

  • That is really good. Very bright and noticable in daylight. A lot of LEDs are only any use in the dark, but not the ones you are using.

  • looks worse than if you had just kept the old halogen rotators

  • This is just a modified Federal Signal Streethawk lightbar that has been outfitted for LED's.

    And Boston State Trooper?? Sounds like a really reputable company... just steals other companies designs...

  • Since When Did Baston become a State?

  • Boston State Patrol? Since when has Baw-stin been a state? That lightbar looks outdated. I personally think it looks like a high school shop class built this lightbar with the the old domes. The dash light is useless it sits way to low in the windshield.

  • its need a new battery, these lights underneath are real low on battery or something

  • @Angerfist2 they are powered by the cars battery. they just suck.

  • boston state trooper? mass?

  • @FirefighterEmt4Life I was thinking the same thing! didnt know Boston started up their own SP

  • wow,I heard many people saying that we got too big lightbars in Germany, but this one isn't smaller.And it seems like that there's nothing else than these lights in it...

  • the thing with the German lightbars is that there's so much wasted space - only two rotators, with a bunch of nothing in between, it does not help with being aerodynamic. At least with American high-profile lights, you get a lot more lights.

  • @nerdlydood nothing between? minimum is a text-field and speakers, in most lightbars also a Xenon-floodlight, Take-Down-Light, orange traffic warning lights (to the back), high-effect strobes or LEDs (to front; often at highway police), on the top a sign like "Slow Down", "Ice", "Traffic jam" can be fixed. And there are just very very few with rotators, most got Strobes or LEDs;

    so actually the whole space between is used

  • i got your message - i can't say i knew about the message boards and all... i know some cars had a third forward-facing strobe on the left side of the lightbar, but i didn't realize that so many had a message board - those are very rare on American police vehicles, so the entire length of the lightbar is used with more lights... the second and third pix clearly show a message board, but with the green cover over it like in the first and fourth images, it's much harder to see

  • how much does that run
