The Gatorade 125s from 2004 were probably the least dramatic as far as the transfer spot was concerned. It was obvious to me before those races that Andy Hillenburg and Kirk Shelmerdine would not qualify (short of TBO in both 125s).
Disney themed cars were going to be part of the TV festivities but they were nixed because of sponsorship obligations and not shown on TV. NBC made a point not to point any cameras or cutscenes of them. There are still Disney Driver uniform jackets and diecast but the cars themselves were never shown.
Know something funny? Back then, it was Benny Parsons who called on the drivers through the radio and they called him BP. Now, it's Darrell Waltrip who calls on the drivers and they call him DW.
@kingmaddog2 yes that is true but back in the 60's-early 90's I mean drivers were with teams for many years. Nascar has become just like any sport with "Free Agency" it is all about the money.
