What most people don't realize is that a lot of people say "Sharing is caring" to convince someone to share, and I remember from my childhood that after this commercial came on, people started saying that. However, at the end of the "sharing is caring" commercial, the person doesn't want to share and kicks the sh*t out of the other person.

Most probably...notice how most commercials after the mid 90s often have violence or some kind of appeal to the lowest denominator in order to try to sell a product. The 80s had spirit, great melodies, clever and enthusiastic pitches for what they trying to sell you. Where once people were singing and funny one-liners like "Where's the beef?" were used, today most commercials are about 2 people in bed, wagging your tongue and rubbing your nipples in an attempt to catch your attention to buy.Sad.
