Here's the explanation that will shut all the people who are saying this video was speeded up: If he had speeded it up, when he recorded, he would have to find a way to make cymbals bounce really reeaaally slowly, so they would bounce "normally" afterwards! Its nearly impossible and a big waste of time to calculate the perfect bouncing velocity before speeding it up to look normal after it, and on the vid it bounces perfectly

If he did that then either: the kit would be at a ridiculous pitch (the snare is tuned kind of high but the cymbals, toms and kick all sound totally normal), or there would be time shifting artifacts all over the place. Neither is the case. Also, his cymbals move at a normal speed.
