  • Joining Leeds.

  • @efcdom1878 ok maybe it is £60million, 25 is just the figure iv heard, still £60million is controllable and is a lot less than most of the other teams in the the prem, I'm not a Kenwright fan but I think he is right too make sure he sells the club too the right buyer.

  • Moyes is obviously building a new team of youngsters to be ready for next year. If we can keep Drenthe we could have a quality side. The defence is one of the top 4 already if not the best.

Then in midfield we would have Barkely, Rodwell, Drenthe Fellani and Coleman (probably Moyes is looking more at Gueye but he needs to improves more).. Their average age would be about 22.

All we need is a top quality striker (hard with no money though) and we could be sorted.

  • @mansionofmiscellany Financial mess? Don't think so seens as Everton are only in £25million debt. Just because Everton dont have a lot of money to spend on players doesn't mean a financial mess! Bill Kenwright just doesn't want to gamble the club in the way that Leeds did.

  • @MrSwing11 £25million debt? Not even close mate, it's more like £60m, thanks to Kenwright.

  • Welcome to Chelsea.

  • @mansionofmiscellany No chance. United have already expressed interest and desperately need a man in the middle.

  • @theotherone50 You already have Morrison coming through. Ferguson is not going to spend money on a player in the same position at roughly the same age who might not even be as good. This guy would be a perfect replacement for Lampard.

  • @mansionofmiscellany Lampard has been your best player this season. He won't be losing his place.

  • @theotherone50 Not yet, but he's near the end, and McEachran doesn't look like taking over.

  • @mansionofmiscellany He's being played out of position. He should be eased in the way Wilshere was next to a DM like Romeu.

  • @theotherone50 Either way, he's injured now anyway, and probably won't be back before January. Perfect time for Barkley to come in.

  • @mansionofmiscellany AVB might not even be in a job by then, and even if he is, I doubt Abramovic will give him 30 million to splash on an untested youngster.

  • @theotherone50 He's never worth 30 million, 20 maybe.

  • @theotherone50 He's never worth 30 million, 20 maybe.

  • @theotherone50 He's not worth 30, 20 maybe.

  • @mansionofmiscellany It doesn't matter what he's worth, it matters what Everton will ask for, and they'll want a lot.

  • @theotherone50 They're in a financial mess. They'll take what they can get.

  • So trying to define a giant in a football context is not a football discussion? Talking about a football team is not a football discussion? Talking about Everton has nothing to do with Ross Barkley? I never tried to quantify a giant of football, i asked you a few questions so you would quantify if for me but you couldnt answer me unless you contridicted yourself, as you suggested that it is money that makes a footbal giant.

  • Haha very poor, youve only proved you have no knowledge of football when you can not respond to a genuine football discussion and resort to deleting comments. Very sad but maybe you will think twice in future before you talk nonsense. I suspect you are a Man Utd fan who choses to only remember the history in the time SAF arrived when Utd became successfull, everything else you ignore and doesnt exist in your eyes. Dont worry though, when City overtake Utd i will still consider them giants.

  • @bieituns There was no genuine football discussion, there was you trying to define 'giant' in a football context, and me disagreeing with you, neither of which has anything to do with Ross Barkley, and neither point falsifiable, because it's not something you can quantify. I'm not a United fan, and haven't said anything to suggest that I am. If you're going to resort to ad hominem attacks, at least base them on something in reality.

  • The next big thing. If this kid stays with us, and we get this investment deal sorted we wont be sleeping giants any longer.

  • @Whiteboobiebear I don't think anyone considers Everton giants at all, sleeping or not. You've overachieved for years, if anything.

  • @EnglandFCYouthWatch2 Everyone in football considers us sleeping giants, the last few years of overachievment mean fuck all dickhead, have a look at our history. 4th most successful club in the country

  • get ya fuckin grubby hands off him you got rooney you're not fucking getting him. although i do like utd mainly cuz they piss off the redshite and tbh i was made up when you got 19 titles haha

  • i hope utd get him, we got too many mediocre midfielders who get in the side just cause they are "hard workers" like fletcher, carrick and park. we're lacking alot of technical ability and flair in the middle of the park now scholes has gone. this guy looks quality.

  • More like bastian schweinsteiger

  • well fergie get him in Jan

  • so were watching james milner yeah?..this is just young james milner..look at him exactly james milner lol...

  • no he passes like lampard you twat
