My scottie *HATES* water. She only likes to bite the water as it comes out of the hose. But she does *NOT* want to go swimming in a lake, pool, and she certainly want to be in a bucket of water.

I was waiting for something to happen, before I read the other comments. Abuse? No. I've had Scotties for years, if they didn't like being in there, they would have jumped out. They're such funny dogs. Love having them around.

They are adorable! I am also owned by a Scottie. They are compact but extremely strong dogs. If they wanted to get out of that tub they could easily knock it over. One time when my Scottie and I were playing, he swung his head to the side and popped me in the mouth and I had a fat lip and a bruise that lasted a week LOL he didn't mean to do it, they are just so darn strong for small dogs. I love them!

I'm thinking about buying my little Scottie a wash tub like that for the summer to cool off in instead of a kiddie pool. I found one that was 6.5 inches high. Were your's able to jump in and out of that wash tub by themselves?

No they can't get out of there. Their legs are too short to jump out. I have 2 Scotties myself. I think this is cruel. However I suspect they were just put in there for the video.
