I build a little school/internet rig for my cousin about a year go and I had a e2140 running at 3.6 Ghz. used a Zalman 9500 to cool that little processor. Those e2xxx overclock really well.

i OCed my e2160 50% to 2.7ghz i couldn't overclock it anymore, it keept failing so im glad i got it too 2.7ghz ;D cpu cooling is zalman cnps9700

@Dominionlord i think the reason its failing is because you have to overclock the memory to about 700mhz or more depending on your memory. thats waht i did and now im at 3.15GHz and i will over clock more... if you have any more questions, ask me.

i have an q8300 @ 3ghz now, i can't overclock it in BIOS so i use EasyTune6(it fails in bios because of the same reason)

So how do i overclock the memory? DRAM volate @ 2.1v and what more? i got a Gigabyte-ep45 ud3lr

Możesz mi powiedziec jaką temperaturę miałes bez podkręcania tego procka?Ja mam taki sam i na intelowskim chłodzeniu przy 1.8ghz mialem 45 stopni bez zadnego obziazenia... Nie wiem dlaczego taka duza temparatura.Czytałem trochę o podkręcaniu e2160 i ludzie miali na podkreconym do 2.5ghz po 35 stopni.Teraz swój e2160 podkrecilem do 2.3 tylko dlatego, ze mam dobre chłodzenie.temperatura po podkreceniu to 45 bez obciazenia i 57 w stresie :|

jest jeden problem, są 2 wersje boxowego coolera do e2160, jedno jest takie cienkie i nadaje sie tylko do stockowych taktów - ma około 2 cm wysokości(radiacz) a 2-gie jest bardziej "overclockeryjskie" i ma około 6-7 cm radiacz(jakoś tak) po oc na stocku miałem

29-31*/55-57 i dodam że oryginalna pasta nie jest jakaś extra

oraz L1 moda na innych procach z socketu A(ale mam wątpliwości)

teraz ten proc śmiga na podkręceniu 73% ze zmienionym coolerem CPU I radiatorem NB
