  • All these bigots are missing are the white hoods and the burning crosses!

  • fuck you apple and all those celebrities who voted no to prop 8 and funded the campaign against prop 8 your I will have to think twice before i watch your movies and purchase products either produced or endorsed by you.

  • Aw, look at all the IGNORANT PEOPLE we have in this world....

  • fags should b shot.... enough said

  • @scheibthepimp you should stfu ... enough said

  • So many obedient bigots in one place.

We're all learning what we need to learn.

  • You people who voted No don't get it you don't even know what happened inside the box of this whole thing do you even know why the rights where taken away? Because you wanted more and the community put their rights on the line for a voting pole so if won you get more but there is a price to be paid if you loose and don't think that we feel sorry for your bullshit you had your chance you should've left the way your rights where but you pushed the envelope and we fought back fuck that.

  • My uncle lives in seal beach,right by PCH,which I was there,peace :)

  • it was so funny cuz i go to middle school in huntington beach. and these yes on 8 people were in front of our school screeming in the morning and a bunch of kidds almost got in a fight. then later in the day they left a bunch of signs everywhere. and right after school almost everybody took the signs down, some tore them apart and started screaming no on 8. it was so cool...

  • Prop 8 is stupid..and likely a waste of time and money on BOTH sides. Even Gov. Schwarzenegger wants the courts to overturn prop 8, and given the fact that they already ruled in favor of gay marriage, it is likely that prop. 8 will not only be overturned, but with a little luck, the churches who told members to vote will also lose their tax-exempt status in the process. Churches started the stupid prop 8 and this is the price they need to pay for being the bigoted a-holes that they are.

  • Every single time I saw a yes on 8 sticker I thought to myself, "Well, there goes another closet case driving by." No on 8. I already voted. And some of you Yes people really need to go back to school and learn some basic grammar skills. Sheesh!

  • Elton John was quoted last week by USA Today as saying, "I don't want to be married. I'm very happy with a civil partnership. If gay people want to get married, or get together, they should have a civil partnership," John says. "The word 'marriage,' I think, puts a lot of people off. You get the same equal rights that we do when we have a civil partnership. Heterosexual people get married. We can have civil partnerships."

  • That is John's choice to be content with civil partnership.

Separate but equal is not equal. It is something different. That is the bare bones of the law and that is how this issue in time will be resolved.

  • Yes, but with all due respect, regardless of someone's opinion of the union, heterosexual couples are clearly different than homosexual unions. The point John made was that legally, hetero and homosexual couples are already given equal rights. Along with that legal right, a homosexual couple can comit to and love each other, which is honestly no one else's business. The question is legality here... and legally, they already have equal rights.

  • The Question is legality and the bare bones of the law agree to marraige being available to EVERYONE.

SOmeday soon we will fully understand what equal protection under the law means.

Did I not say separate but equal is not equal??

What is it to you anyway. How does this HURT you?

  • Enough is enough! Only the facts will answer everyone's questions and opinions. Please view the facts at: .com/watch?v=4JZIJnJWZBQ

  • this is so ridiculous. No, prop 8 is NOT ahead in the polls at all, what a ridiculous statement below, you are an idiot just like this proposition is

  • Yes, let's ban marriage for anyone who can't have kids. That's fair. Oh and while we're at it, let's ban divorce too! That would be the real way to "restore marriage."

  • Vote Yes on 8!!! The marriage is defined as man and a woman, because if everyone became gay and married, we would have no children. Logically, only man and a woman can have children. This means that gay marriage is just a relationship that does not make sence.

  • Ah, i see distant relations to the Fred Phelps family lined up along the highway. Except they are not being so blatantly rude by waving signs that may say God Hates fags.

    This is the tame version.

No matter how you slice it folks you are judging people and saying they are not worthy of a right you enjoy as a citizen.

Those little yellow signs are anti-gay signs that spread homophobia. I am sure your proud of that. You would make good Phelps family disciples.

    VOTE NO on 8

  • To all those who stood up for their values and opinions along the PCH in the OC, thank you, thank you, thank you! You all are amazing, and I appreciate you so much!

  • GOD told me to vote no

  • When claim that same sexed couples are inferior parents do you base this on any of the research of such parenting. I might point out that the American psychological and psychiatric associations disagree with your claim as does the academy of pediatrics.

  • Marriage has always been one man and one woman. It is ridiculous to try and "redefine" that. YES on PROP 8.

  • By always I suppose you mean since the 1700s when romantic marriage first came about and the institution ceased to be for the most part about property? What about in the 1960s when the institution of marriage had always failed to recognize interracial marriages in the united states. I hope people can put their personal views aside and stand up to legalized discrimination.

  • Elton John is entitled to his opinion. I myself so not think separate, but equal is the right course and I am very concerned about a misguided effort that discriminates against same sex souples often violating a separation of church and state.

  • All of you moral little thugs with your happy yellow signs, you are alienating your friends, neighbors, family, coworkers, etc. The pride in how you display your homophobia is sickening. The movement to ban gay marriage is hatred, thinly veiled as some religious opposition. It's the same argument you used to say blacks shouldn't marry whites and it is wrong. Your friends and neighbors are ashamed of you. Someone you love is gay or lesbian. You are saying they are less than you. Think about it.

  • Amen bro...nicley put.. i agree alot ;)

  • YES on prop 8 because marriage is between 1 man and 1 women like Jesus says in his word THE BIBLE in the book of Matthew.

  • Actually Jesus himself never addresses homosexuality.

  • Thank you for posting this video, because once Prop 8 fails gay people will know which neighbors are bigots. I'm glad they had the courage to take their hoods off to show who they are. Do they also burn crosses on lawns? Keep these videos coming. It is GREAT evidence. Vote No on Prop 8, and join the latest supporter of NO on 8: Steve Young, our most famous CA Mormon....!

  • lisznut, please check your sources before saying who does and doesn't support prop 8, Steve Young has not commented on, and even specifically said he will not comment on his view of Prop 8.

  • I honestly can't believe how intolerant you "tolerant" no on 8 people are. I disagree with you, but you don't see me calling n on eighters retards. YES ON 8.

  • That is because the people voting NO are decent people. The people voting yes are bigoted pieces of trash. DUH.

  • my case in point.

  • SpdyBruin -the rights you define as not being given to domestic partnerships are FEDERAL rights.THe FEDs do not recognize gay marriage. Prop 8 will not change that if it passes or if it fails. DEFENSEOFMARRIAGEACT 1996. YOU DO NOW HAVE ALL SAME RIGHTS AS CALIFORNIA SPOUSES. LOOK IT UP DOMESTIC PARNTERSHIP ACT 297.5. Changing the definition of Marriage gives you no more rights and only advances your cause to make your gay lifestyle TAUGHT,condoned and accepted by all. That is No on 8's real agenda

  • Imagine that we were living a few decades back and we replaced 'same sexed couples' with 'interracial couples' in such an argument. Would it sound right if we extended full legal equality to African Americans, but chose to call inter-racial marriages something akin to civil unions? Of course not. It's discriminatory and there is not reason for the state to take part in stigmatizing a group of people with misguides 'separate but equal' legislation.

  • yes on 8 :)

  • Marriage has nothing to do about creating a child. But if you want to take it there... Plenty of children are messed up in so many ways and have a mother and father! Most homosexuals know how it is to loose parents therefore they give a child more attention, love, and providing they would ever need. All we want is to be treated equally. Most of us have lost family anf friends because of our happiness and we're not going to loose it for anyone trying to push their religious beliefs on us. Vote No!

  • so your gay well say goodbye to california and be gay some where esle cause polls show prop 8 is wining (thankgod!) and i hope prop 8 wins cause it is wrong being gay its better to marry like the real way marriage is suppose to be man and woman you guys have lost YES ON 8!!!!!

  • So you should be able to marry your sister if you love her, huh Speedy? There has always been an implicit morality associated with marriage, and hopefully, there always will be. Pure marriage is about selflessness and sacrifice, with the goal of biological parents raising their children to be moral adults and continuing the cycle. (continued below)

  • Marriages beteen close family members are not recognized because children are at danger of genetic problems. This is no the case with same sex couples so I'm not sure what the comparison is. Same sex couples can sacrifice for eachother so you lost me there as well.

  • SpeedyBruin: The point was that there are clear examples of marriage being restricted when the effects of such a marriage would be detrimental to the children. This only makes sense 1) if marriage is about more than just two people being in love, and 2) it is not a bigoted action to use the well-being of the family/children as justification for prohibiting certain types of marriages.

  • The american psychological association, american psychiatric association, the academy of pediatrics, and the world health organization, to name a few, do not believe that same sex couples are a danger to children and the research on the matter suggests otherwise.

  • Keep your domestic partnership, which provides all of the same civil privileges as marriage (tax breaks, insurance, etc). But to change the definition of marriage to include gay marriage means you take away the primary goal of marriage. This weakens marriage in general because the focus is now on the interests of the two individuals being married, not on the selfless act of uniting to create and raise children.

  • My video has footage of a lot of supporters in Laguna Beach & Dana Point...check it out!

    Great job...YES on 8!

  • Awesome video! So great that people from every city banned together to make this happen! YES ON PROP 8...yes on love for everyone, yes on freedom, yes on families, yes on keeping schools from tying the hands of parents for thier own agendas, this proposition is for everyone and for our future generations. good job all!

  • Everyone deserves to be treated equally under the law. I plan to vote No on prop 8.

  • Speedy...I absolutely agree. The rights of others are still protected and NOTHING is being taken away. To say that the definition of marraige is between a man and a woman takes nothing away from anyone. Everyone still has the right to a civil union under prop 8 and still have all of their freedoms and rights.

  • Rights like social security? Rights as far as immigration is concerned? Rights when it comes to insurance? These rights do not exist for those with domestic partnerships (we had domestic partnerships rather than civil unions in California). 'Separate but equal' is not equal and marriage is a social institution as much as it is religious or more so. Legal details aside marriages are treated with greater reverence and people who care just as much for each other are entitled to equality.

  • Great Job all! No on 8 folks have no clue. They are the haters and intolerant ones.

You will be blessed for your efforts.

  • Don't eat a yellow orange.

  • If you know anyone in the Bay Area please let me know!!!!! This Saturday is the big day!!!!

    yes on 8

  • YES ON 8- keep it going. I have had many haters on my videos but To Make a Stand you will always have haters. YES on 8!!!!!!!!

  • take your rights away? you already have the right of domestic partnership which is recognized under California Family Code 297.5 to receive all benefits, responsibilities, duties etc granted upon spouses..so what is the deal? now i have to change my way of life so that it is no longer man & wife, instead Partner A and Partner B when I get married? so churches that do not agree with same sex marriage will have to let their building be used and perform marriage to same sex bc it would be wrong

  • skeletor18, churches can still take money from bigot supporters and promote hate all they want. Marriage mean equal. Can't stand just being equal?

  • it will not only effect heterosexual marriage but also our kids and family...it will follow suit just like MA...in SF a teacher already had her kids witness a gay marriage! parents were not even advised..

  • Every "YES on 8" sign is malicious, hateful, and bigoted... period! IF you don't see that, than I'm sorry. Love thy neighbor means absolutely nothing to the YES campaign. It's all about them, their hate, and their intolerance for homosexuals. Gay marriage will not effect heterosexual marriage. If anything, the 50%+ divorce rate in California is hurting families. Why not focus on that???

  • You can "love your neighbor" without santioning what he/she does.

  • (sanctioning)

  • Love thy neighbor? Bigot..malicious? Not really feeling the love from you my friend. Pardon me for wanting to protect my rights and keep someone else's agenda out of my home, school and church. I really don't care what your sexual preference is as it has no bering on how I feel about you as a human being. But when it's being thrown in my face...I think...what are you trying to prove? Who are you trying to justify yourself to? I do love my neighbor, but I don't have to accept their behavior.

  • if you are for No on 8 thats fine, but do it in a civil manner instead of being like every other idiot who is insulting..

  • awesome....that is what you call dedication!

  • No buddy, that's what you call ignorance.

  • ignorance? why because they are actually sticking up for what they believe in instead of insulting like what you do...talk about being open minded and freedom for everyone, yet every encounter with a No on prop 8 has been malicious and hateful...thanks for giving me another example of negativity...im sure you are the person that drives by them and flips them off for sticking up for what they believe in..

  • Thank you for being level-headed and intelligent enough to respect others even if you disagree with them. It's a lost art!
