  • @travylle But they couldn't make him stop licking himself

  • @travylle the million dollar dog.

  • Next time go with carbon fiber

  • @JonDeth it might be too flexible. i know it wont break but it might give too much

  • @nickfromdtown1992 currently there are bicycle frames built 100% from Carbon Fiber.

  • @JonDeth yeah but those are tubes. that thing is just a curved piece of what ever its made of. the shape has a lot to do with it

  • @nickfromdtown1992 dude carbon fiber can be made to stop bullets. Do you not realize that carbon is one of the hardest substances on earth? It's added to metals to make them stronger and so they resist oxidation. Carbon fiber can be formed into any shape, designed to be flexible or stiff and the degree of strength can be varied depending on the intention of use.

  • @JonDeth yes but part of the reason it doesnt shatter is because it has flexibility. trust me im a guitarist and they AWLAYS use carbon fiber in guitars. but it depends on what shape you put it in that depends on how much give it has. not its density. and im saying that in the shape that dogs original would would not work for carbon fiber. it would have to be put in a different shape to not just bend

  • @nickfromdtown1992 always use carbon fiber in guitars?

99% of guitars do NOT use carbon fiber and I would know, I own about 40 guitars of all designs and types from 10 string 36 inch scale touch guitars to neck through 24 fret custom built.

Carbon fiber isn't typically flexible unless the application requires it to be such. Do you even know what carbon is?

Now please stop, you have no idea what you are talking about. At least do some research before arguing with someone far more knowledgeable

  • @JonDeth dude ok youre a dick. i did research i do know what im tlaking about yes i know what carbon is. stop being butt hurt because some one pointed out that it had to be shaped differently than that piece of shit plastic. and for the record. if guitars dont use carbon fiber then explain tone pros, parker, prs, mtd, graph tech, dbz guitars, green wood, music man, modulus, warmoth necks, washburn, or countless others. i was just making a comment. yorue the one who turned it into an argument

  • @nickfromdtown1992 You're talking a VERY limited number of models and the funniest part is, the NECKS are usually where the carbon fiber is used. It's stiff as steel and used to prevent warping. You're an arrogant little brat with absolutely no knowledge on any of this material. I'm an engineer, inventor and craftsman. I have a dozen projects going at any given time. I've done more reconstructs and modifications on guitars than times you've played.

You're making a fool of yourself.

  • @JonDeth no youre not any of those. youre a cocky condescending douche. i never said the guitars were completely carbon fiber. i said its used. for your info ive worked as an apprentice in a guitar shop for almost two years now. get over yourself. i never once asked about the shitty projects youre doing.

  • @nickfromdtown1992 according to you, carbon fiber is too flexible, now according to you it's strong enough to build guitars. You've contradicted yourself several times now. I can assure you, it doesn't flex what so ever when used in bikes, guitars and other applications that need it to be completely rigid. In other applications however, it's made to flex and recoil such as in race car body panels that will be bumping into one another.

You're the arrogant cocky condescending turd.

  • @JonDeth no i was just making conversation. simply pointing out that the original shape might allow it to bend. if somethings in a tube (like a bike frame or guitar truss rod) it has equal support from all directions. so serioulsy just shut the fuck up. i was simply making conversation. youre the one who made it an argument on a fucking dog paw video. dont reply because this is the last thing ill say and anything past this point youre talking to yourself. i hope the poster deletes these comments

  • @nickfromdtown1992 you were picking an argument and insisting that carbon fiber would bend. I then informed you that it depends how it's made and that carbon fiber can be used for a lot of different applications. You then went into a tirade of know it all-ism and ultimately contradicted yourself.

I in fact made the carbon fiber comment as a joke but, it would in fact work and possibly better since it would be a lamination and laminants produce superior properties in all regards.

  • Such a beautiful dog! I am so sorry that he had tumor but I'm glad he's OK now=)

  • that german shepherd looks shaggy and pointy.

  • yup, German Shepherd with double coats are very pretty, I want a black German Shepherd with a double coat... but I live in a studio... and I am poor... and now I'm sad....

  • its the real german sheperd that kind in america and canada was bred differently

  • @CrimsonRising001 oh really? whats the name of the real german Shepherd because that dog is beautiful

  • great for the dog, but not really bionic, if it were, it would more accurately mimic the real paw, possibly with nerve control reinstated. this is just a simple prosthetic appendage.

  • wow what a happy day;) very emotional

  • That is so great that you could do this for him. So many people don't even get 'growths' checked out. I wonder, when he stands still is that leg the same length as the other front leg? My dad had a hip replacement and the surgeon made sure his leg would be the same length, to prevent other problems with the spine and stuff. That might not be a problem with dogs. I hope Storm is doing well.

  • six million dollar dog!!

  • well worry about bone can be melt by metal which stronger than bone

  • So is there an update on Storm? Did they create a prosthesis that would support him?

  • how awesome ^^ wishing for the best for him!

  • Absolutely incredible. We all love/support you Stormie.<3 Wish you the best in life.:]

  • Go Stormie!

  • Interesting, but Storm is a Belgian shepherd, not German.

  • wow, so happy for storm, wish her the best.

  • The dog is a HE...

  • ok, thanks, I am glad he is loved and wish him all the best.

  • we can rebuild him we have the power!

  • this is amazing, its about time we start doing things like this. My dog died earlier this year due to cancer. we had to put him down in the end because it targeted his spine and disrupted the connection between his hind legs and his brain, so he couldn't walk. He will never be forgotten

  • Hooray for storm, I wish more could be done for other animals.

Why they couldn't do something like that for Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro is a shame.

  • Give it one that fires lasers.

  • That dog needs some carbon fibre!

  • eeerroou

  • that's awesome news but storm's a Belgian shepherd not a german :)

  • :-D Dumb vertivication letters glitching....

  • HURRAY FOR THE DOGGY

  • Storm's owners must really love him. I wish more owners showed as much concern and understanding.

  • Storm's owners must really be very rich. I don't think it's a matter of the owners of Storm being more loving than the majority of other dog owners.

  • most owners do love their dogs this much, the issue for most people though is money. not everyone has enough money to invent a paw for a crippled dog.

  • thats so amazing
