I'm a pretty big Joe Sakic fan, and he may be the classiest player in NHL history (which is why I'm certain, he was just careless when reaching for his stick) - but he definately wasn't better than Gretzky. They had a similar style, but there was something magic about Gretzky. Sakic would probably be higher on the scoring charts if he played in the early 80s, but he wouldn't be #1. Quite often Forsberg was better than Sakic as well when he wasn't hurt (he might make my top 5 all time)
