Nothing against the Srt-4 but I hope a stage 3 can beat a stock Evo. Even if the stage 3 turbo for a srt-4 is a 15g and is smaller than the Evo's there is obvious mods done to the car. For the price range issue yeah the srt-4 is cheaper but at high hp how well do you think that fwd car will hook up. And after you put that 20 grand into that srt-4 and wanna sell it, whats it worth? like 11 grand tops? while the Evo stock is still worth anywhere from 13-25 grand. the srt4 isnt bad for the price.

Also the EVO was full bolt ons completely tuned on 24-26 psi and supposedly 350hp, I doubt it. He also herpes it off with a tractor trailer in front of us. No excuses but the yellow car went 7.09 in the 1/8 and the EVO hadn't been in the 7's. I had it turned down for a fair race.

personally i own a modded evo 8 and its a monster , but don't hate on this srt4 it was fast there both cool cars not everyone can afford a evo but long as your having fun enjoying whatever car it is u own nothing wrong with that good vid

First of all it's not a stage 3 it's a 60 trim which is vastly larger than s3. Secondly don't make excuses for a loss it's run what you brung and that's it. Thirdly yes if the Evo was tuned on a 60 trim the srt would have been killed.

FACT
@xxTeamKnoxideAZxx Not always. The evo responds very well to bolt ons but will be around the same power levels as the SRT4 with a similar trim turbo more than likely. All depends on the supporting mods. The Evo is going to be much more reliable motorwise though...
@bigwightboi Pistons and rods aren't the only items in an engine. SRT4's are seeing alot of instances of oil burning when they push past the 400hp mark. The weak point in the 4G63 has always been the rods which start failing around the 450-500whp mark but is more based on the torque levels. 410wtq is really the highest Id want to push a DD with stock rods.

@PutzkiSniper yea buddy has that 1, heard the turbonetics is little better then the agp and a bit more customizable.... i just got the stage 2 turbo toys and use the thumb wheel as my 4 setting boost controller.

@JiggabooD And how do they hold value better? According to you that SRT4 would have lost 40% value over 6-8 years now. The EVO would have lost over 45% in 5-3 years. Less years and higher percent doesn't mean it holds its value better just means it cost more because it was DOUBLE the price BRAND NEW now used its 6k at most 20k to 6k in a few years... thats a big drop. And most SRT-4's are 12-15k. Don't call me a moron because you can't do basic math 'jiggaboo'.

@PutzkiSniper 60 trim way bigger than 20g, hell 50trim on an evo makes an extra 100hp over 20g... neons don't hold there value like evos do, evos look way better, evos aren't just made for straight lines... Evo ment for rally racing or track racing really... Love my evo 9 .. Peace
