I worked at an Oil Refinery in Bakersfield Ca where we made the JP4 that 0008 ran on. I mixed the last batch for it which was about 3 truck loads, (24,000 gallons) that was used for he last flight to launch the scram jet test. I will always be proud that I something I did was used in this great aircraft.
