@jst601 The mod is now part of the new Sparkle Drive MOD pedal which should be out in the next couple months (we hope). The new one had 4 total mods that go from the original 808 sound to this fat lead tone, to an extra high-gain scooped mid modern tone. More info on our website is coming soon!
Big thanx! I was using just a reverb with big level of early reflections - but with slap echo its much better! Btw i checked your other videos on youtube - great playing and tone!
@georgebig2 Actually, I had a pretty loud slap echo going at the beginning of the solo. That's one of Robben's biggest tone ingredients next to the fact that the guy has great phrasing! :)
I was also playing a very loud old Fender which along with the slap, and the humbucker in my old strat can totally get you tones close to Robben's.
