ive just seen your video by eck it takes me back i lived on portobello estate sandal castle in the 1950 / 1960s was our play ground we used to climb the ruins sit in the queens window as we called it we took our jam sandwiches and our bottle of water the pugneys was then a sand quarry that was our swimming baths we would go first thing in the morning and come home when it started getting dark..........we were frightened of the ghosts lol
There's so much to this video--history, music, and the outdoors. It's the walking history tour I never expected. And it couldn't have been a more beautiful day.
It was a morning too good to be missed . I have to confess I have been inspired by your little trips to various places near where you live. I will also confess to reading up a bit about the history beforehand lol.
I love making these types of videos and i also love watching these types of videos, you can find out so much about other places and actually get to see them which is great

Hi Penny, you were out early today, it's a beautiful day isn't it... i've already got my washing dry on the line, and ironed! :-)
It's very beautiful around your way, i love Yorkshire, i used to have a boyfriend who lived in Batley.
The Castle ruins are picturesque :-)
