Hi again. I must say that I feel bad for what I said about ASUS, and I take it back. The problem I had with BSOD was all my fault, after trying to install another Windows 7 (Ultimate) many times, thinking that problem would be solved. Since then crashes and blue screen started to appear, until it ended with a HardDisk Damage. As for the monitor problem (white screen), not my fault though, but Asus Service shop where I bought it repaired everything for me, and now I am HAPPY.

My brother got his laptop for $800 and it's really amazing, it can run any game and it has an i7 intel pentium processor, and an intel HD graphics card. I can't understand it at all, how the he'll did he get it so cheap? I had to pay like, $2000 for my laptop....

This laptop ASUS N90S sucks. I have bought this crap for 1200 Euro, but although it has some good things, like big RAM memory, 2x500 GB HDD, Full HD and a good design, its battery life is very. Btw... this is not the problem. The serious problem is that after only a couple of weeks I had problems with the white screen, crashes, freezing and finally Hard Disk damage !!! No way to start it. I just hope the service where I bought it will fix it for me, and if possible, I will change to another pc.

I've owned and Acer 8735G-6472 with and Nvidia 240GT and i game all day and serf all day and work all day everyday now for 1 year strtaight no problems very stable.

Asus I heard alot crash and over heat and bang for buck i'd never take the chance..

Although for graphic design, cadd, 3d design and animation, I'm getting a fully loaded m17 for alienware. The w90 and m17 cost almost the same with max specs, but the w90 with it dual 4870s is just... WOW!

You can only use 4 gb in a 32 bit system, but you can use over 4 gb in a 64 bit system.

Yeah, They have the simplest version I guess. There is no HDTV, and BD drive. I need the the HDTV turner but i care less of Blue ray drive because even here in New York, i haven't seen any Blue Ray renting stores, I i'm so not gonna spend 30 dollars every time I I want to watch a movie in decent quality. I think dell has stopped production on the m1730s, just like the m9750 and m17x from alienware.

And I'm a bit of a geek (lol), so I'm going to buy the base configuration from AW for $1399(that includes tax +s&h), but a qx9300(2.53ghz) for 400 off ebay, and buy extra hdd space and ram for another 300, at the most(from newegg).

So, as oppose to buying from aw for $3500+, my m17 will only cost me $2100 (at the most)
