I have a giant tunnel/base system that has a bunch of work stations (forge, tools, but no storage.) and a special place for all my good bits like diamonds. But the real kicker is a lockdown switch. It case of a flood or a monster or summat, I can pul a switc for a place I've deemed "The Bunker." it releases a 10 thick wall of sand that blocks off all doorways and all chests, flooding each chamber with lay-va.
