  • @ Howdoiplayxx can u by those as pets?

  • That is really INCREDABLE!!!!!! What a facinating creature!!!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT THAT BIG ASS EEL ATE A BIG ASS FISH!!!!!!!!! THATS SO SAD BUT COOL!!!!!!!l LOL LOL LOL

  • thats not right such a large eel in such a small tank.

  • no offence but your tank is really dirty

  • Looks like there's a cyanobacteria problem. Personally I'd add some plants and large branchy chunks of driftwood to the tank. Koi aren't the best feeders either. I'd feed it convict cichlids instead. They're cheap and easy to breed. Otherwise she looks great!

  • I wish every idiot who tells ppl with murky water, blind, air gulping fish that are built for living in tight harsh conditions, would shut-up about tank size! This fish and fish like him (lungfish, ect) do NOT need a giant tank! As a matter of fact if the tank is too big the fish get stressed or are unable to catch their food! They live less than 5ft deep stagnant water for 70% of their lives and the rest of the time they are fighting flood waters. This tank is perfect for him

  • The fish's eyes said

HELP ! GET ME THE HELL OUTTA HERE !!!

  • Yea its so funny watching it.. emagine if you where the fucking fish and u had to fight for ur life in a cage against mike tyson, And the oly way for him to survive is to eat you raw, while ppl is watching u. >.>

  • thanks, i just watced the unagi friends episode, and yeah its a eel, the coolest eel there is....but i have to say.....get a bigger tank dud....

  • That is fucking COOL man! Thank you so much for sharing this! Have you ever tested the effectiveness of the fish's shock on yourself? Is it really as dangerous as they say? How in the heck does this thing keep from eletrocuting it's own vital organs? Is it somehow able to maintain a complete + or - charge along its entire body? What is the dispersion of its charge in water? How far away do you have to be in order to avoid a lethal dose? Is it true that salt water will cause these creatures to..

  • @Benx64445 These fish have electromagnetic nerve like endings down their sides. All fish have them but the electric eel has developed them for use in muddy water to detect the electric field other animals give off and to "see" using the natural electric fields given off by the envornment. They are almost blind and breath air. They have the ability to shock over 20yrd in water, and have killed ppl by stunning them causing them to drown. They have a strong shock mainly for defence against caimans

  • @ginko27 NO The electric eel generates its electrical pulse in a manner similar to a battery, in which stacked plates produce an electrical charge. In the electric eel, some 5,000 to 6,000 stacked electroplaques are capable of producing a shock at up to 500 volts and 1 ampere of current .Comes from 3 different organs.NICE TRY at being smart. They can literally shock you to death .75 amps kills a human they can produce 1 amp so it's not just by drowning.Nice try again btw.Know it b4 you speak it.

  • cool fish
