it seems this was false colored via editing back then but if so WHAT was the color tektronix terminal I played with as a kid (9 or 10 years old and I'm 25 almost 26 now) that was at my Dad's work, it was color, vector and non-storage tube, and made one amazing display, I would give anything to own one, if nothing else to be able to program an amazing version of tempest on, even plotting simple vectors in basic, it was amazing and I want one badly! I think it was hooked to a DEC pdp11/70 clone.
yet again, even not hooked to another computer, just running as a stand alone computer, this thing was light years ahead of other machines and even some today, just with a few lines of code, being able to do things like this, in 1979 and even today, just a truly amazing machine and surprisingly enough STILL useful, anyone has an old 4051 they want gone PM me! I WILL pay shipping on the heavy beast! if you can plug it in and type in 10 print "hello world" type run and it responds, I want it!
you do realize, one of these terminals with the proper drivers, interfaced to even a marginal computer by today's standards running linux, is a very powerful and useful graphics and cad machine, I have been looking for one of these terminals for awhile for this very reason, 1024x780 resolution, as many colors as the host computer can process and transmit and at its core with no host, one amazing and powerful 6800 basic, this whole thing was definitely done in just it's native basic language!
Thank you for this because my geomtry teacher is a faggot and doesnt no how to effing teacher so thank u!
