I think it is an OK song, ghazal should be like this. Ghuncha is a girls name and it is a Dari (farsi word), and yes it means flower that has not opened yet or a bud.

Those who are using exaggerated adjectives when praising this song probably know nothing of the fact that this is not really a fantastic composition and the lyrics arent that special either. Why does it appear special to ordinary ears? Well, it is because they haven't listened to a lot of this type probably because they have been branded as 'old and outdated'. There are countless numbers and far better compositions on this raga that Mohit has used. I have nothing against him though. He is good.

Yeah true people who hear to ghazals and shayari know its not an amazing lyrical compostion but have u thought y it is mesmerizing ? It is due to his voice and the guiitar played in the background which is so simple yet amazingly assuring. The compostion may be simple but it is original and soothing. His voice reaches inside my head. I know the lyrics are okay but he assures them to be outstanding with his voice. Its a very common way to express love but its haunting dont destroy it :)
