Oblivion - Mages Guild - Cheydinhal Recommendation

I'm sure this has been said but I started this quest went in the well found out I didnt have enough skill for bouyancy waited a while and vidkun's body was gone. Anyone know how to fix that?

@jezzejam there are I believe 8 in total. they aren't very hard quests. Just get them over with :P

@SuperLegogamer11, It use to hold/ putting human soul inside it in this game. I think, one of those black soul gem has Vidkun soul in it.

that's not the only way to cure it. Look on the oblivion wiki, there is a quest from some wizard guy in one of the cities that will cure it for you as well.

Lol how did you manage to become a vampire right away? If you get attacked by a vampire you have a chance of contracting the disease which a message pops up on screen telling you you got it.

You can cure it with a regular cure disease potion within 3 days before going to sleep. I'd suggest loading a sace and doing that. Here's a tip to follow while playing games. SAVE OFTEN. I save my game in any ge like every 2 minutes lol

look it up on the oblivion wiki, it tells you everything about the mages guild. every guild for that matter. anything you could ever want to know about anything to do with Oblivion is on that wiki page. google "oblivion wiki" it is the first result

Well I had a similar problem when I went to do this quest, except instead of the guy not being there, he was there, but he was alive lol.

You can circumvent the whole problem by:

On the PC, you can fix this problem by entering the console command player.additem 2E5AC to give your character the ring.

I believe there is a bug with your save file, but look it up on the oblivion wiki first to confirm.

dude, your gaming guides urgently need some kind of commentary in them, im completely lost as to exactly what it is your doing half the time. :(

What are you talking about? Most of these videos are pretty self explanatory.

And if it's less than straight forward I usually throw in an annotation or two.

For the number of videos I record, the amount of time it would take to add a commentary to every video would be painstakingly time consuming.

I hardly have enough time to edit the videos as it is!

I will consider it though.
