this video is so true, my mate got a centrino 2 duo thing, and it has trouble playing HD video with slow frame rates and sucky textures... Its funny because his upgrade is slower than his previous platform with core duo and ATI HD 2300.. LOL
that laptop intel based BLOWZ, i got a dv4 1125nr and it just sucks in anything video wise. i shoulda gone with the amd like with my desktop, well ima sell it and get a amd ati combo with the next newer platform they bring out :P
Whats about Intel processor mixed with AMD Graphics in Montevina platform? Best processor C2D in 55nm and cheap but effective radeon (not integrated) able to help processor to play DVDs. Soon i will test it. I will try Iron man - this will be interesting.
I checked PUMA power buying Asus X56AT PUMA platform. I tried newest GTAIV on it all on full and i got max 15fps with HD3650. Sad is that 4800 mAh battery works only 2.5 hour with full energy saving and only 1.2 hour in entertiment mode. This is funny revolution in power seving with all these super inventions we heard here.
Nah... just that Intel sucks in graphics... when AMD released the AMD athlon 64, intel had a heart attack, as that was the first 64 bit processor that was whooping ass in gaming... and it gained popularity there over intel!
now intel has worked out the kinks with the centrino 2, they say that power consumption and blu-ray playback have dramatically improved. although, i still think AMD have finally got the better of Intel.

How about setting the game's graphics settings on the Intel machine to those of the AMD?
The difference between a good or bad gfx card are only in the rendering speed. Any other differences are a direct result of different graphics settings. A real bluff by a marketing guy who will very soon lose his job along with the rest of his colleagues.
