We used this particular car because it was available for sale for a few hundred dollars -- which was our budget for this event, given the likelihood there wouldn't be much left to take home after the racing was done.

Looks like your running a ford escort. Is that because they are a good 4 cylinder for racing or just what u had?

YES< This is the best way for any racer to bring in the new year. I've been going for the past 5 yrs and this was the worst i've seen. The track was just WAYYY to MUDDY. No traction. Everyone was stuck.. Still always a good time. Better luck next year. Hopefully the track will be in better shape

This is Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville New York and the day is just like a page out of a Mad Max Movie - gotta experience this in person to believe it....this is now our 4th year watching - admission is a donation to the food bank....good day and good cause. We remember you #53!
