  • Bella out did himself with this character Igor. Excellent movie.

  • ohh i like the monster he's nice awsome job!

  • Iconic character.

  • Dear Geisler, "The Black Cat"was not the only time that Mr.Lugosi played a hero on screen. He played the title role In one of the "Chandu The Magician"films. (Chandu The Magician was a popular radio super hero

    back in the 1930's).

  • Ygor lives!!

  • if you like twilight youre physically ugly

  • i didnt even relize twilight stole his name.

probably cause i refuse to watch it.

its the vampire version of 13,like dogtown was the skater version of 13

nothing to with shit except teenagers as seen from some 40 year old womans POV

  • "You played me a trick!"

As Karloff said, Bela "was worth more than he got." The main problem with Lugosi seemed to be that he saw himself as a leading man when his real talent was as a character actor. Universal also treated him very poorly by not casting him as Dracula in 'House of Frank' or 'House of Drac.' Big mistake b/c Lugosi is a great straight man in 'A&C Meet Frank.'

Why does the Monster still sound like his neck is broken after he gets Ygor's brain???

  • "He DOES THINGS for me!"

  • Bela Lugosi was a freaking genius. Y'all ever seen pictures of him as Jesus from 1916?

Unfortunately, we got a gaggle of kids who're going to think Bella is the name of a vampire's insipid girlfriend.

    (No, not Abzug.)

  • Thanks. I have pics of Bela as Jesus. Actually, I also have Bela's autograph. His Grandson, Timothy Lugosi, is in charge of the Lugosi Enterprises. You can also do a name search and add him as a friend on MySpace. ("BabyDrac")

  • Next to his stage and screen portrayils of

    "Count Dracula".."Igor"is Mr.Lugosi's best

    screen character.

  • I HATED that the theme was satanic, in THE BLACK CAT... but I LOVED Bela in that movie. It was rare to see him as a hero. And a darn good one, too.

  • Classic Stuff!

  • I made these for my friend on myspace. Thanks for the comment.

  • I always thought this was Bela's best and this was my favorite Ygor line "They die dead, I die live". Great memories watching these as a kid.
