when Vigo says the three new far away wars and undisputed glory from the first three is a reference to the star wars prequels not living up to the original first three movies
"I see the evil of the times to come. The glove won't fit." Wow Vigo, OJ getting away with it was more evil than the 2000 Election, 9/11, or all of the natural disasters? lol
Is it just me or does Vigo seem more chill and relaxed than he did in the 2nd film?
He almost has a Deadpool attitude by all his sayings here! He doesn't really care if he gets out of the painting again to cause death and destruction, yet he loves to joke and fuck around with the random unnamed Ghostbuster every time the players choose to interact with him! And really, alot of Vigo's sayings are something that Deadpool or an unimaginative 5-year old on amphetamines would cook up!
He wasn't destroyed, but rendered powerless. The altered painting of the Ghostbusters and Oscar at the end of Ghostbusters II was like a victory dance over Vigo. It eventually reverted to Vigo's original portrait. This game is canon, as Dan Aykroyd said, so that is Vigo.
There are many different theories. Here's 1 I go with, Vigo's spirit wasn't destroyed, just weakened. He slowly regained his power, but not enough to break free of the painting which explains why the painting changed back to him. As he is now, he's classified as a Class 4 entity.
@Jumajuice8 No he's just a cameo. He only appears in the painting. The game is mostly based on the original movie, just happening all over again at a later date.
No, the game is based on the original Ghostbusters III script, not the first Ghostbusters. The events in this game were similar to the events in the first movie because of Gozer and Shandor's involvement. It still served as a sequel to the films.
@wolfeedarkfang if you want to see it, search google for ghostbusters wiki, then find the vigo article which a the bottom of the page shows his concept art

@sustelsuk He was blasted back into the painting. He didn't necessarily die since.... he's already dead. So I think he re-appeared in his painting

@Jumajuice8 Supposedly he was going to be a boss (there is concept art of it) but it was never put in the final project

@xIegionx Now that would have been nice to see. The game was very quick. It needed more fights.
