That's amazing to me.Such a fine solution for a big problem. It's hard to believe big sawmakers aren't lining up use it.If I had to work with a saw all day,I would insist on its protection.
The blade carries an electrical charge. When wood (wet or dry) comes in contact with the blade, it has no electrical properties, so the charge on the blade remains constant.
However, the human body does maintain a potential difference (a similar but different charge). When the human body charge comes in contact with the charge on the blade, the electrical sensor picks up this difference between the two charges in a matter of microseconds.
I wish we had these when I was in shop class at school. I seen a kid lose his finger on a table saw when he didn't use a 2x4 to put the wood the rest of the way through. I myself get nervous around saws or any blade alike. This design is genious, your tools should be made so they can't hurt you.
if you send in the expended cartridge they replace it for free (just pay shipping type deals)and while it doesnt fuck up the whole table saw I'd bet its not good for it to keep deploying it.

Tools "hurt you" when you don't use them properly. The kid you "seen" lose his finger should not have been using a table saw. Genius.

Who cares about the blade? You can easily lose a finger in those. Id rather replace a 200 dolar part than spend hundreds of dolars on medical bills.

I think I'd rather mail away for a new blade than a new hand. No complaints about a damaged tool from me, all things considered.

does this ruin the blade and i guess you have to replace the aluminum brake. Also does it hurt the table saw
Alot better though than your hand
