"Photo: Julius Bergeron". Is that the Scientist's name? 0_0 Or is it really the name crediting the guy who took the photo?

I feel really sorry for the scientist. A creation taken from him before he could make it understand human values, and then unable to do anything but watch as the whole world's falling apart. Poor man.

@whotookCheesusChrist Well, at least he had a big heart. Any other man, who had his invention stolen from him and misused, would've let life end out of embitterment. But he found it in himself to give the spark of life one last surviving chance.

You know what's almost as sad? He never got to see off 9, except through his hologram box. Never got to witness 9's first moments of life.

Well, in the Russian version of 9 each character is a "living memory" the scientist had, 3 and 4 are the scientist's children apparently.

The section of soul they received was the childish part everyone has. Best that I can figure, everyone has each of the characteristics the stitchpunks have, they just choose to show certain parts as their personality. That's why each 9 character is different from the rest, although they may show similarities. Take 1 and 2, for example. Both are grandfather-like, because that's what showed the most in the scientist. Makes me wonder...
