@Ijustatewhat19 If you buy Lost Odyssey, you're in it for the story, the music, and the CG cutscenes. The gameplay itself isn't fun because of the long load times and it's just WAY too traditional. It's not a very original game, but I think it's definitely worth playing. Other great RPG's on the system are Infinite Undiscovery, Resonance of Fate, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and Final Fantasy XIII (just turn off auto-battle, use "repeat" when needed, and read the datalog entries!).

@yoyoyo88665 I liked the gameplay of Lost Odyssey a lot - the ring system is quite addictive and the graphics make battles flow well. Plus it actually has ships/airships that let you explore unlike other "modern" RPGs.

@meerkat1954 LO's battle system is basically a much worse version of the Judgment Ring battle system found in the Shadow Hearts games. And why does airship travel matter SO much to people? It's not fun. I don't see why everyone has to bitch and whine ever time an RPG doesn't have a traditional world map accompanied by airship travel. Sure, it's a nice addition but it doesn't HAVE to be there.

I recently played this game and let me tell you, it's been one of the most fun games I've ever played. The story is amazing, the battle system is well balanced, and most of the characters are pretty awesome (Jansen is a horny beast).

I recommend everyone watching this to go out and pick up a copy for yourselves.

Wait...so the immortals come from a differnt world, that was destoryed, by somethings, and this phyco person, wants to gain true immortality and rule the Gods/Universe by harnessing power, so he can defeat someone and ascend to this realm of Newmara...i think i have to get a 360, oh this is very FF, and the battle system seems different to.

Wow, honestly I'm kinda disapointed. "Do you really think you can beat it?" <--Least epic line EVER. The final boss music, while great, was used totally wrong. It's so perfect for him to start the battle right when the guitars start playing the fast part but they did it as if they had no control over it! Then just overall Gangora ruined the whole scene. Pretty poor ending.
