If you are riding in a car with someone that is texting and driving, tell them to stop. If they don't, ask them to pull over and call a friend to come get you. I've had three people try this with me in the car, and I have made all three of them stop- if they are even a halfway good friend, they won't make fun of you, and they will listen.

Over the summer, a girl in our class hit an aunt of another student in our class. She was texting while driving. She killed the dog she hit and but the aunt in a comma, although they said she will live, she will be left with severe damage to her brain. And she will have to live without her dog. Her only baby.
